My favorite is Compsognathus

But you may be more familiar with the shorter term, "Compy". tiny little lizard guys.

but anyways, what's yours?
Archaeopteryx :3
One good look at the first half of my name is all you need to know for that.
Pterodactyl (guess you don’t like them XD )

Ah, birbo is cool, good choice. I'll count that as a dinosaur.

I always wondered why they were depicted with those head sails? Flesh membranes? Idunno. I could be missing a lecture or discovery or something, I only have a tertiary understanding. Seems like a lot to gain from a fossil.

Either a Triceratops or Stegosaurus.

i've an interesting anecdote about trikes. i visited the museum of the rockies a handful of years ago and there was a display that would have you believe Triceratops were actually just juvenile Torosaurs. again, im not a dinosaur expert or anything, but i was skeptical. a Torosaur crest is very... holy? sure, similar, but the same?

fast forward a few years and i learned something from a friend who worked at an art museum. the museum of the rockies probably knew that Triceratops and Torosaurs were separate entities... its just that the cost of building these displays is such, and the logistics of changing/paying for new displays to fill them, makes updating move at a glacial pace.

it makes me wonder what percentage of any museum of anthropology is outdated, idunno just thought i'd share that.
