Dragons, knights, riders, empires, and adventure. A mystic land surrounded by mountains needs new keepers to assure the darkness buried below will not resurface for long. But until the new recruits are ready, they must learn the ways of the dragon magic, and bonding. Who will be taken in? Perhaps a village will have a sacrifice ready.
Magic may be accepted as truth but is not common. It might be harnessed only by specific beings. Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones.
