Hi! I'm looking for an excuse to combine my two favorite fun things in the world; Fire Emblem and Arthurian Myth. The two are surprisingly compatible; Roland’s presence, and that of a variety of European mythos, makes up a lot of the naming conventions of legendary weapons in the game.
Using the class structure and mechanics of Fire Emblem, the tale of Arthur can be told again with a refreshing new spin, a simple medieval romance, following the footsteps of this classic gba game.
Mechanics
The class list from Fire Emblem would determine the character’s social class and combat skills.

Story
While maintaining many of the archetypal conventions of Arthurian mythos, I’m likely not to hesitate to omit or modify the legends to fit the new setting. They are meant to form more of a basis for the plot rather than completely embody the plot. While a greater magic may exist outside of the mechanics (playing a role like the Quintessence of Nergal) that explains the sword in the stone or the holy grail, the story itself will adapt to the mechanics of fire emblem. In other words, characters will find their place in one of the classes and the story will be more of a Fire Emblem campaign with Arthurian themes, the FE aspects taking the lead. That means a more action-based campaign, support conversations, and character death.
Premise: To Restore a Kingdom
We begin with the sword in the stone. Arthur retrieves it and hefts it high, the gleaming sword shining in the enshadowed meadow. The crowd around him takes knee before their rightwise king of England. While by the sword proclaimed, Arthur is the rightful heir, there is already one who sits upon the throne of Camelot; Morgana le Fay, the Sorceress Queen.
With Merlin (Sage level 1) and Kaye (Cavalier level 1) by his side, Arthur must first elude the clutches of Morgana, who now presides over Camelot, and recruit allies to defeat this mightier foe. He is sent to the mountains beside Camelot, where he is seeks shelter in the reclusive monasteries. It is not long, however, before his small group is set upon by the opportunist Bandit Clan Ofr Talebot

Iron age
More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.
Details: Occasional dice use, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred.
