Since I really wanna get back into the Sci-Fi genre, I kind of been wanting to do something with Mecha. Thank Super Robot Taisen for this. Anyway, the only Sci-F character I have that pilots a Mech is Akira and to the Lesser extent, this character.
Some action and Adventure and maybe old ruins exploring is something I kind of wanna do as well.

I'm not sure what you have in mind, if our characters would both be pilots or if one would be the pilot and the other the sentient/semi sentient mecha itself? I have a character who is the pilot of a large robotic suit (though it isn't huge but as tall as perhaps a one or two story building) and if one of us should play the mecha itself I would have no issues creating a new character. I also have many cyborgs and androids but I don't think they would be useful here because they are either simply humanoid or can pilot only aircraft, warships and tanks.

Well, Akira's mech is piloted, but is controlled by his mind.

I would like to take credit for it but I asked because I thought having the mecha semi sentient is a mainstream thing. Though I'm most likely wrong about that... I remember watching a few anime where it's a 'living being' but I probably got the idea mostly from the trailer for titanfall... 
So, a living robot? Kind of like a robot buddy? No matter what the size?

Giant Mecha. IE Gundam, Tessujin, Getter Robo and so on.
I'd be down! I have a Mobile Suit (from Gundam) pilot, but i usually create different ones for each RPs i join, soo... Yeah!
