In a medieval world called Aphreim, there is an infant kingdom named Ornasia. Created a mere 2 years ago, Ornasia has been steadily growing in wealth and power since it's inception with heavy ties to surrounding kingdoms military and politics. The red queen, Orisa Lockheart, is an ex-military leader with fame and power beyond the likes most men have ever seen. This dangerous power has gained her powerful allies and dangerous enemies. Now, she does not use her power so to not scare her new peons, but know it is there, and powerful. The white queen, Claire Lockheart, is the gentle and caring mage of the kingdom of Herva, a neighboring Kingdom to Ornasia. Primarily a cleric, Claire deals with politics and communications with other kingdoms, using her sweet and gentle nature to win the hearts over those she needs to.

But not all is okay in the kingdom of Ornasia. Something stirs nearby, the creatures of the surrounding lands become aggressive for no reason, monsters attack the town unprovoked and reports of witch activity increasing in the local forests stir fear in local residents.

Tied down with their work and responsibilities, the queens are powerless to help stop whatever is happening themselves and lack the military power to waste in case a neighboring kingdom decide to try and invade the infant kingdom... So they put out a call;

"To all neighbouring kingdoms, we request your aid.
We seek all able bodied adventurers to assist in the
protection of our kingdom and the investigation of
the events surrounding it.

We expect and await your arrival for your assistance.

Greetings and welcome to The Kingdom of Ornasia- take 2.

This is the second time I am attempting this role play, as the last time this was ran I unfortunately could not continue to due to real life commitments and drama. So please bear this in mind.

It is my goal with this group to build on what semblance of a story I had constructed last time, as it became interesting to me and the other players, however it was ran on discord which, for the most part, works fine, until the format of discord becomes too much to handle. (That is, a format that requires you to be active and respond often due to the apps limitation on post length.) So, I wish to have a more relaxed version with no stress on replying fast and constant, instead favoring fewer, larger posts for those who don't have the time to reply constantly.

If you are interested, please leave a comment or message me as the character you want to play as. Naturally, this is a fantasy setting so no science fiction or modern characters and characters who aren't overpowered/super powerful in any way will get priority, as this role play is designed for new-ish adventurers to explore the mostly untamed land surrounding Ornasia, getting gear and growing as characters as they do. To add to this, there is a stat-point system in place to sort of guide the players along.

Details on this system will be in the group, but know that it will involve very minimal dice rolls.

Can I learn more about the stat system before I build a character for this?

So the system is a basic stat allocation system. You start off with 5 points and gain more as you play. These points more or less reflex your characters general combat abilities and in combat is used as a reference to gauge your strength. But also contribute to your ability to do certain things, such as strength affecting your ability to wield heavy weapons and do strength based tasks, or dexterity being a requirement to be able to pick pocket and the like. It covers any character you could make as it's really more or less just for reference.

It's interesting. Is there any classes to it? You know, what weapon, like melee, ranged, or magic?

Yep Yep! Though there's no "classes" specifically, but higher grade large weapons require higher strength scores. Etc

I am more of a ranged kind of weapon kind of person (I do play Terraria, after all.), and I prefer to keep it that way, so I'll make a new character for it.

Oh I don't want to put pressure on anyone to actually post that much. That is obviously a lot of words and unreasonable to ask of anyone. But more or less the reading part of it can be overwhelming.
