Ren waited for her to finish.
“I don’t know how to actually.” She answered.
“Will you teach me?” She asked.
"It's sort of hard, but sure." She said, and took a mini chess set out of her bag. "Each piece moves in a different way.." she started.
She laughed along with Etta. After eventually stopping, she looked around the garden. “Is there anything fun to do around here? I haven’t been here for long.”
"Well, there is a lake but I don't really swim." She said, shrugging.
“I don’t either, at least I don’t think I do. I can’t remember.” She said, shrugging.
"Oh well. Maybe we can go to a forest or something like that. You can't die right? Not easily I mean?"
((heh, it's okay I do it too))
((heh, it's okay I do it too))
“Nope, can’t die. Unless it’s the council ending my service.” She answered, smirking.
"Oh, well that's good. Maybe we could go to the forest then since I can't die easily? If there even is anything dangerous there."
Ren tilted her head. She moved one of her pieces.
Taeraya nodded, “Let’s go!” She said loudly, walking towards the forest.
((let's just assume she said how each one moves, heh.
I do that sometimes, it can be pretty tough))
"To win, you have to put the king in checkmate." She told her. "Which is when he is in check and anywhere else to move would also be check."

Taeraya followed the path to the forest, eventually entering the trees. She continued down the path that wove between all different kinds of bushes and boulders.
Etta followed taking in the scenery. "It's a pretty forest," she said, although it wasn't particularly prettier than most.
Ren nodded. A bit later her king got a checkmate.”Checkmate.” Ren said.”I swear I have never played this before.”
Taeraya surveyed the trees and undergrowth, “It’s positively dreary,” she paused for a moment, “It’s wonderful.”
