"I agree." Etta said cheerily, picking a small flower on her way. It was a dull pink and didn't look very healthy. Etta wasn't really sure why she chose it.

She decided to stray a bit from the path, wanting to see what else the forest had to offer.

"I wonder if there is a lake here somewhere, or a meadow. Something different." Etta said.

“I guess we’ll find out!” She said, walking over a large boulder.

"Great!" Etta said following her. She flew a little higher to try and see farther.

((Oh.)) Ren put a piece down to get a king.”King me.” She said.

"Good job." Alexis said, putting the online chess players king in check.

Taeraya noticed Etta fly up but continued walking, knowing the other girl could easily catch up. “Let me know what you find!” She called up.

“Now what?” She asked.

"Okay, I will!" She said. Eventually she flew back down. "There's a meadow up ahead with a creak running by it."

"Whatever you want." Alexis said with a shrug.

“Well then that’s our destination!” She smiled.

“Did I win? Is that the end of the game?” She asked.

"Great!" Etta said cheerfully.
"Yup, checkmate means you win. Stalemate is the only time you can get."

“Oh ok. I still don’t get the game. But uh... good game.” She said.

"Yup. There are some good chess sites that can help you, like lichess or chess.com." she said.

“I guess I could try it sometime.” She said.

"You should. I personally prefer lichess, chess.com has forum issues with it's mods." She said.

“Ok.” Ren said smiling. She heard Lily say something and took the Rose friend out.

Alexis glanced at it but didn't say anything.
