First off, it says I have to choose a character, so I may as well use my Maze Runner OC who I later will insert into the RP.

This is our Maze Runner roleplay, and we'll start on just a normal afternoon in the Glade.



Newt straightened from his work in the gardens, wiping a bead of sweat from his brow and leaning back against his long shovel. His pale eyes scanned the Glade's large, open space to see the others still at their work.

Blayze stood in the doorway that led to the maze, she was tired from running for most of the morning. So, she decided to go back to the Glade after she finished her section for that day. Little to say, Blayze was now hungry and tired from a day's work. This day was extremely hot Blayze was sure everyone was sweating from the heat. Once she got back to the Glade she saw Newt and everyone else.

I'd be at the lunch table eating an apple as usual. It was boring being a greenie you were the new guy and you couldn't do any of the jobs. I had already remembered my name which was last night. Today's heat was pretty horrible.

Newt caught sight of Blayze not too far away. He raised a hand in greeting and offered a smile. "Hey! So how’s it goin' for ya?"


Karter


I catch sight of someone by the tables, munching on an apple. I’m not a social one, but hey, can’t hurt, right? I shrug and march towards the person, too exhausted by running all day to bother arguing with myself over whether or not this is a good idea. "Hey."

A person walked toward and said hey and so I'd respond "Sup." I'd give them a piece of my apple "You want some?" I'd say.

Blayze looked over to Newt who had waved and spoken causing her to smile back at him and respond, "It was hotter than Hell in that maze today. How's the garden, getting good produce?" Blayze asked as she started walking towards him as she saw the Greenie at the tables.

Newt


Newt chuckled at the comment. "Temperature doesn’t change much 'round here, but I guess runnin' nonstop can do a number to a person," he said, remembering from the past. "Eh. The corn and potatoes are refusin' to cooperate, but otherwise, all is good."


Karter


I smile halfheartedly at the response. I don’t want to end up taking some of the apple, but after running around the shuck Maze all day, I won’t deny to being somewhat hungry. "Uh...yeah, that’d be awesome," I say.

She chuckled softly and rolled her eyes playfully. "It really does a number when you fall on your face three times, my stupid leg kept getting tangled in the vines." Blayze said as she put her hair in a ponytail. "I see the greenie isn't doing so bad so far,"

Newt


He raised an eyebrow. "You fell on your face three times? Where were ya runnin' that you kept gettin' tangled in the bloody vines?" He asked.

Blayze kept quiet for a few minutes before speaking again. "Well you know the overgrowth on the walls, well I forget to be smart sometimes and I tried running up the walls a couple times..." Blayze said with a nervous smile at the end of her story.

Newt


He stared blankly at her for a moment. "Sorry, you said you tried to run up the walls?" He repeated.

OOC: @Zak: Don’t even know. People just kinda vanished. I’m still here though.

That’s okay. I’ve also tagged both of you, I believe.
