”The world isn’t the same anymore,” Aki mumbled as he put a hand on his holster, checking if his tiny pistol was still in place. With a sigh, he slowly creeped over to the windowsill and glanced out it. There they were. A bunch of them. Zombies. People of all sorts of shapes and sizes, limping around with a small groan every once in a while. Their white eyes freaked him out the most. The way their jaws detached sometimes, their weak limbs...it almost is funny to think they could kill you in almost a second if you weren’t careful. There were even special ones that he had to be careful of too. “Well, I’d be damned if I get out alive..” The world is dying. People are scarce. All they need to do is get together, get resources and survive on their own. The world...is a state of decay.

[ Roleplay Information (Read through all of this to make sure you’re not missing anything!) ]
[ 1. People Required: Max 10 ]
[ 2. This Roleplay does follow a game (State Of Decay 2, if you haven’t played it, please do. It’s wonderful. Or don’t. Whatever floats your boat.) Therefore, we will use what’s in said game. I will list all of the things that can be used (such as guns and consumables) and what is not to be used. ]
[ 3. Zombies. There are different types, especially if we are following the game. Let’s list them.
Regular Zombies: Just average zombies, can run if infected early otherwise slow and easy to kill.
Screamers: These are a bit of a problem if you need to use stealth. They have no arms, and if they see you, they emit a loud, screeching scream which attracts other zombies to it’s location.
Bloater: These are very easy to recognize because of it’s huge stomach which is filled with toxic gas. Shoot it quickly before it gets to you or you might not have a chance to before it engulfs you in gas. It doesn’t kill you, but the effects (slowness and trouble breathing) won’t wear off until much later.
Armored Zombies: Much harder to kill. Melee weapons work best, since the helmet comes off really easily. The rest of the armor is almost impossible to break without the zombie getting to you. Use a machete or some sort of long ranged melee weapon when dealing with these foes.
Feral: If you see one, do not engage if you are alone. They are super fast and if you’re not careful, you’ll get pinned before you know it. Although you can kick the zombie off, it’s not likely. Juggernauts: As the name implies, it’s...not easy to kill these zombies. They are the strongest zombies out there and it takes more than 3 people to kill it. Although it’s super slow, it has a lot of power so make sure you’re not in range of them. They also can grab you by the neck and choke the person nearest to them and will only drop them if harm is done to their body. You can also climb on top of them and slice their head off. Just be careful.
Plague Zombies: Zombies that have infection. Blood Plague is an infection (that I will get into more detail down in the consumables) and the only way to get it is to kill these zombies and grab samples of tissues. But be careful. If bitten too much by these guys (although they don’t turn you into a zombie) they can give you Blood Plague. ]
[ 4. Rules. Please follow these.
No one-liners. At least a paragraph or 2-3 sentences. I don’t mind. Just no one-liners.
No smut or anything. I don’t like it.
Swearing is allowed.
No magic. (God, I see this the most-)
No one under the age of 10. It doesn’t make sense that a 6 year old would be running around with a gun, right? I feel like 10 is a good minimum age.
Don’t make overpowered characters. It’s annoying.
And insult the character, not the person.
[ 5. Consumables, Cars, Weapons and Diseases.
Consumables: There are many consumables, such as:
Textbooks (in different skills, such as chemistry, cooking, gardening etc. Your characters can have different skills in the beginning but they can’t know everything and every skill. The max is 2 skills.)
Boomboxes: Distraction for a whole group of zombies. Use wisely, will run out if not careful.
Mines and Grenades: Mines are placed down around the area, grenades are thrown. Different sorts of grenaders (only box mines in this game) such as thermite grenaders, smoke grenades and etc.
Coffee and Stamina-related items: These can only be used a couple of times before not being able to use them again (coffee can only be used once until you get tired again-). Don’t waste them.
Health related items: Syringes, medkits, bottles of painkillers, can all be used to bring your health up/stop pain.
Gas Can: Self-explanatory. Refuel cars, then fill the gas can up again.
Cars: The bigger the car, the more it can hold. You want a car that doesn’t make a lot of noise but goes really fast as well just in case there is a feral or something. Running your car into a juggernaut can break the doors, and ferals can also attach themselves to the doors and break them. Repair kits are used to fix the cars. You can also upgrade cars into “zombie-apocalypse military” cars. They will have armor, carry more items or go faster and require less gas.
Weapons: Normal weapons, no miniguns or overpowered weapons, although they can be upgraded with spare parts. Usually these: assault rifles, shotguns, snipers, pistols, submachine guns and etc.
Diseases: The only disease you can get in this game is Blood Plague (from Plague Zombies) which makes the infected person feel like they’re burning from the inside. The only cure is to get samples and make a Plague Cure, which will completely eliminate the effects of it. It will not get you infected, repeat, it will NOT get you infected. Also! These zombies will spawn by Plague Hearts which are these heart shaped, slimy things that will spawn in stores and/or houses that you will have to get rid of to get rid of Plague Zombies. Defeating those means you have a slighter chance at living.
[ 6. Resources and Neighbors
Resources: Basic 5 things you need in a zombie apocalypse, food (drink included), ammo, materials (for building), fuel and medicine. The more you have, the more you survive. If you have too much, some will spoil.
Neighbors: Some people are living in groups called “enclaves.” They might ask for favors and in return, if you do said favors, they will become good friends with you, allowing you to maybe call in supplies or have extra storage. Other times, if you don’t do what they ask, they will stay neutral. If you ask them to leave where they are, they will get hostile and start shooting at you, which then in turn, will make you more liable to die and will not benefit you in being able to get resources. You can also ask if one of the members would like to join (if someone wants to take that part, they can!)

End
That’s all for now! Ask if you want to join!
Magic 10%
On very, very, rare occasions there may be unexplained, POSSIBLY supernatural events. Minor "environmental" magic. Perhaps implies the existence of a deity or supernatural entity. Or perhaps it's just tricks?
Technology 50%
Modern
Combat 40%
Unrest may be part of the setting, but any scenes that happen to involve combat may be summarized.

Details: Freeform, paragraphs required, long-term RP partner preferred.
