Last chat in the RP Craft Discussion series, TODAY

Posted by Kim on February 23, 2013, 9:57am

Please remember to join us in the chat today at noon PST (that's 3pm for all you east coasters). We will be holding our LAST discussion in our RP Craft series.

Today's topic is running a RP Group. This is a huge topic, and we'll be touching on everything from creating a setting and enforcing the rules, to attracting and training new members. In other words, the weighty social responsilities of a game master, and the tricks of the trade to creating an active and exciting community adventure.

You are welcome to participate whether or not you have had prior experience running a group in the past -- more than likely, you have seen examples of it being done well and not so well, and have both thoughts and questions on the matter. Of course, if you happen to know a brilliant game/guild master, you are encouraged to bring them to the discussion so they can share their wisdom.

Remember, we're here to discuss civilly, and we want to hear constructive ideas. There are moderators watching closely to guide the conversation, and absolutely no name calling, put-downs or trolling will be tolerated.
