From the Greek word meaning "glory," a kudos is acclaim for exceptional achievement or qualities.
On the RP repository, receiving a kudos means that another community member recommends you as someone other people might like to get to know. Perhaps because you are exceptionally fun to RP with, exceptionally fun to know, or are just plain exceptional!

Chapter's writing can be incredibly dynamic, funny and witty, and it has been very enjoyable to play and plot with this man. Chapter always had a gif for every situation. He was a joy to talk with and get to know. This man really knew how to progress a story and make things interesting. His writing was stupendous and a real treat to read and work with. I miss being able to interact with him regularly but I know he has been rather busy. While Chapter hasn't been a member of Tam'nýer—a' long, he has certainly made his mark. He is affable, and always sitting pretty and ready with a gif to make you laugh. Quick witted and an over all pleasure, he is also the calm and acceptance needed in a turbulent world. Chapter is always willing to plot, write, and be patient if need be.
