From the Greek word meaning "glory," a kudos is acclaim for exceptional achievement or qualities.
On the RP repository, receiving a kudos means that another community member recommends you as someone other people might like to get to know. Perhaps because you are exceptionally fun to RP with, exceptionally fun to know, or are just plain exceptional!

Though I perhaps shouldn't proclaim this to the world (and I only feel comfortable doing so because the player has basically been my waifu for over ten years) THIS CHARACTER HAUNTS MY DREAMS OH MY GOD BOCCA. My friendship with Grumpyskunk has been the most precious thing to result from my time in Furcadia. They are funny, patient, understanding, driven and creative. Grumpyskunk is a versatile roleplayer who has inspired many of my own characters and though we have known each other for so many years now, they never fail to surprise me. Grumpyskunk also knows the difference between IC and OOC which makes tormenting each other IC especially satisfying. 10/10 would give a kidney to. - Noxious

What can I even say, here? First, I suppose, that I'm deeply ashamed for having failed to write a kudos to Bocca sooner. Vibrant, creative characters, stunningly detailed and flowing prose, and a wicked sense of humour are just a few of the things that recommend this gorgeous person. I love this lady, legitimately love her. She is like my sista from another mista. We've been on a roller coaster of role play for many years and even when we find our plots apart, we always end up right back together. She's one of the most supportive friends I have, always encouraging me and happy to be involved with any of my projects or plots. She's funny, kind and downright a good time all wrapped up into one! You my dear are fabulous, and never forget it!

Probably my favorite person to roleplay with. I've been trying to find the words to describe how awesome she is for a few days now and all I can come up with is WOW.
