Cleopatra of the Nil (played by SavvyFox)

The dust cleared, trees native to the desert oasis' had been planted alone the stone path. Behind you was nothing but sand and dust, however in front of you seemed like something out of a resort catalogue. Upon further inspection you can see the building in the middle of the oasis much clearer, stone walls and door, the windows were open and letting some air flow around the mansion. It was huge, hotel in nature. With the heat beating down onto your skin you are drawn further into the shelter.

Dainty feet were bare, legs were long and tan and lead up to very little white shorts that was partially covered by a white sash. Another white piece of silk was wrapped around ample breasts and the ansamble gave a show of that curvaceous dark body. The woman's hair had been cut short styled as a bob, with two pieces of bang coming down to brush against elegant collar bones. Gold colored eyes turned to meet yours as she flashed a pearly white smile. "Welcome to the Arena. I am Cleopatra, the owner of this establishment."

A Few Rules:
Obviously, follow the site rules and guidelines. If you don't I will be forced to remove you... or really the mods will. Because they're very helpful like that ^_^

Do not discriminate, if you don't like someone don't interact with them. Pretty simple.

Try to post at least once a day, if you can't we understand but don't feel bad if someone has moved on.

NEVER EVER AUTO HIT! This is a fighter rp and I know how hard it can be to loose but sometimes your character needs to.

When you post anything about hitting another player I'm going to have to ask you to roll a 10 sided dice with the post. That way if you get a 10 it definitely hit, but if it's a 1 then your character stumbles a bit and doesn't hit.

Try to post at least two paragraphs, so that your other role play partners have something to go off. Somewhere between 2-8 paragraphs should be about right. Anything more and I'm going to be blinking a lot.

Cleo is da boss! Not because I enjoy bossing others around, in fact I'll probably not play her too much, but because it'll help the story go along.

With the dice rolls, here's how they would go {guidelines, not exactly like this}. This is with a character punching another in the face:

1 Misses, hits a wall and you can't use your hand until you go to the medic.
2 Misses, skims a wall and you scrape some skin off of your knuckles.
3 Misses, you stumble a bit and leave your flank all out in the open.
4 Misses, you loss some balance and your next movement is slow
5 Misses, you stop yourself in time to gain balance and continue fighting.
6 Hits, grazes the cheek bone but it does hit.
7 Hits, enough to knock him off of balance a bit.
8 Hits, knocks him about 1 foot back and hurts him quite a bit.
9 Hits, knocks her off balance and back a few feet enough to daze.
10 Hits, you have put your full force into this one punch and send them flying so that no matter what your next hit will really take him.

Now, obviously if you are like me you like to give off a few movements in advance. That's fine, but if you get a 3 you better understand that your opponent is free to take all of that post as a miss. He shouldn't, but rp sake, something should hit. But it's their choice.

If you wouldn't mind sending me a few things about your character that would be great. Specifically:

Name:
Race:
Weapon of Choice:
Specialty:
Hobbies:
How Did You Get Here?:

ALL CHARACTERS MUST HAVE A COLLAR! The collar is a means of keeping the fighters in the arena, once blood is spilled with one on their debt is filed and they become a warrior to Cleopatra and the God Horus. Just so everyone knows.

I know we all have profiles for our characters, but this is a nice way to think about your character in the arena.

OK! I do believe that is all, this is subject to change of course.

Bare feet padded to the banister, she looked out upon the courtyard fondly as a mother watching over her children would. Her hips moved to the side as she leaned over and rested her elegant chin on one dark hand. Gold glittered along her body, rings of it, earrings, necklaces and bangles. Her birth right seemed to radiate off of her as if it were a power. Those golden eyes scanned for her favorite warriors. She smiled as one was thrown onto the wall and slid down, it was an odd thing to smile at but she knew in her soul that he would learn how to become stronger for it.

"My lady." Came a voice behind her, she slowly turned her body to lean back against the stone banister. For a moment she just watched as the servant trembled before her, his short stature making him an unlikely candidate for a warrior but as her messenger he was fine. Nodding her head she allowed him to continue his news. "New recruits should be coming in soon. The caravan is on it's way." Cleopatra gave a soft serpentine smile.

"Well then, make ready the beds." She whispered, the sound made the messenger twitch. The way he moved made the Mistress laugh, which was a sound as melodic as chimes in a summer breeze. "Oh my Lu! Such a cute boy you are. Go on then." He hurried off and she turned back to the training men and women.

Even in death, I rule with Divinity....
Eon (played by Ricochett)

Eon sat in the back of the caravan, looking down at his hands. His tail was curled around his waist so that no one would sit on it. He rocked with the wagon, thinking about last night. It was going great until he made that bet. He shook his head. As long as he had been alive, you would have thought he would have known when to trust his instincts. But he was still young and foolish. His brown skin could be seen even in the shade, as well as his short spiky black hair. His downcast deep blue eyes flicked back and forth across the ground beneath him.

The arena, he thought to himself. He could handle himself in a fight. He had studied every fighting style there is, and is proficient in all of them. This should be fun he chuckled. He needed some people to fight anyway. he couldn't get stronger by gambling and screwing girls. He looked up at the others in the caravan, wondering if any of them had the skill to give him a good fight. He just wish he had his armor, and his own weapons.

He flexed his fingers and sat back, smiling as the wagon rocked back and forth on the road to his new adventure.
Kyle Alexanderson (played by TheHero1208)

A young boy, a smile stretching across his face, stared down a road that seemed to lead to nowhere, but he knew better, as it lead to a place called "The Arena..." the boy muttered to himself as he stared on. The road seemed endless, but he was used to walking. As he took in a breath of fresh air, the boy continued his journey. His name was Kyle, Kyle Alexanderson.

Kyle looked at the scenery, nothing much but sand and a road to follow to a place that he wasn't even sure existed. However, he wanted to see how strong that he had become, and had decided to test his strength amongst the many fighters that were bound to partake in this event. Kyle smiled again, his long, spiky hair flowing in the desert wind. He happily jumped up as he began to see signs of a huge resort-looking place that was definitely not natural. His first thoughts were a mirage, but he suddenly realized it was the Arena.

Before he ran to it he thought to himself If I go, I had better be ready to fight against some strong opponents. I don't think it will be easy, but I always liked a little competition and forging new bounds as the fighters get to know each other... Kyle snapped out of his thought process and then jumped up in excitement. "I'm going to face so many strong opponents. I better not let my guard down!" and with that, he tightened his bandana and took off, running to the Arena
Xylus 'Bex' Thanos (played anonymously)

Xylus stared at the wooden floor beneath him. He didn't know where he was or where he was going; however, he had a feeling he wouldn't be allowed to simply leave the caravan if he attempted to. Those men who he assumed were lawmen worked so hard to get him on it. Xylus would have to wait for his opportunity to escape; and besides, they still had all of his equipment, wherever they were keeping it.

Xylus leaned back and sighed heavily, closing his eyes and resting his horns against the wall he was against. He seemed to be the only satyr on the Caravan, though he wasn't sure if that could be considered a boon or a bombshell. It certainly didn't make the Caravan's destination or purpose any clearer to Xylus.

Maybe, just maybe, he was being punished for the crime of having a good time. Last night was an absolute blast of a time. He drank 9 men under the table and won an incredible amount of gold doing it. He wasn't even beginning to feel buzzed when the tenth man accused him of cheating; I wasn't cheating, Xylus thought to himself, Dumbass just didn't know that satyrs practically live off alcohol.

The drunkard's accusations evolved into physical action. Xylus put a cloven hoof in his chest and sent the man flying, coughing, and wheezing with one kick. Of course the man hit a few obstacles before he came to a resting position, that was what really "kicked" off the brawl that resulted in his imprisonment.

Xylus rubbed sand out of his eyes and looked at his fellow passengers. They seemed positively ecstatic about where they were going. While that was only mildly reassuring (Xylus knew that some cultists worked their entire lives so that they could obtain the honor of being sacrificed to their Gods); they seemed jacked, ready to fight. Xylus sniffed his discerning olfactory senses, trying to deduce what he could of them, figure out where they were from.

The dark-skinned man Xylus shared the wagon with smelled like a storm. Probably a mage of some sort that used weather magic, though the scent was much stronger than most elemental mages. Darkie was powerful. The man was smiling. Xylus guessed that the guy thought he had one hell of a shot, wherever they were headed.

Xylus shifted his attention to the man walking alongside the caravan. He had a warriors body, and had been trudging along for as long as Xylus had been awake. The kid muttered something about a place called The Arena.

So that's it. they were headed to a fighting pit, probably a trial by combat or something. Xylus smiled now as well. He was an extraordinarily strong satyr.
Arashi Miro (played by SavvyFox) Topic Starter

Arashi sighed at Lu, he wasn't much taller than the servant but he was definitely stronger. He walked along side him in his casual black clothing until they came to the entrance. "New arrivals?" He asked the smaller man as the caravan pulled up. Lu nodded and looked a little green around the edges. "They probably won't rape you this time." He sounded bored and his eyes reflected nothing in the way of kindness. Not that he didn't like the other man, but he didn't find him very... stimulating. In any meaning of the word.

"Probably?" he meeped out, not taking the words as anything but more to get scared of.

Arashi rolled his eyes. "How about you tell the cook that there will be more men coming to eat his food. I'll introduce them." He said, and as soon as he finished he found himself alone on the front steps of the Arena. He leaned against the door and let them get up to the stairs before pushing off of the stone and easily making his way down to where the guards were. "You may leave, they are in the fate of Cleopatra now." He said, and they chuckled. As the guards ushered the prisoners into the doorway Arashi looked at Kyle, his toxic stare unimpressed. "Are you here for the Arena as well?" He asked, and didn't let him answer as he lead all three of them inside.

"I am Arashi, Cleo has asked me to take you inside of the main building. Once you have sworn allegiance to our Mistress you may wander as you please." He informed them in a bored tone. "There are the baths, the servants have their time in the afternoon, and we have ours after training." Which told them that the small white haired man was actually a warrior in the famous Arena. The demon continued down the path, unafraid of the fresh meat behind him. "While you are here please refrain from attacking those who work here, they are servants and devout worshipers of the Mistress, she will take it as a personal insult and add years onto your debt." He ran long pale fingers through his white hair as they walked and then pointed to the mess hall. "Dining will happen in there, first come first serve."

Lu looked at Arashi for a moment from the mess hall and then to the large Goblin-like creature behind him and almost passed out. "That's Lu, please don't give him a heart attack." He asked, as if rehearsing from a script. He then lead them out to the banister. "And the courtyard is where you will be training, honing your skills for the tournaments and trying to gain more attention from Sponsors." He said and then walked them to the Arena. It was huge and the way that Arashi brought them took them through the armor and weapon hold to where they would emerge if they were in the battle. "Welcome to the field of Honor and Glory." He said, sounding less bored now, more at peace. "This is where you will pay off your debt and become eternal."
(OOC: First off... just so everyone knows i'm setting some other rules strictly for myself. i'm just posting them so everyone knows why i'm playing my character how I am. he is at bit overpowered and currently going through a revamp so his regamp form ain't on my page yet... hence these rules for myself.
1: I am not going to use his angelic form.
2:weapon wise i'm limiting him to chains whips and swords.
Well...for now those are the major.ones... i'll update you guys as i add more.)

Kyle stirred a bit in the back of the caravan. he yawned a bit as he pulled his trench coat from over his face and looked about. "This had better be worth letting myself get caught..." he muttered to himself. He was informed that the primary caravan had already departed for the destination and as a result he was going to be a late arrival.

As the caravan halted at their destination he hopped out and drapped his coat over his shoulder as he eyed the building before him. He then shrugged lightly as he started walking towards it, his boots thudding dulley upon the walkway as he went.

"You would figure there woulda been somewhere here to meet me... Ain't got a clue where i'm going... and those bastards took my swords too... man...this blows..."

He continued on his approach to the building as a light smirk crossed his face thinking on the opponents he would have to contend with.

(Also...bear with me...it's been awhile since I rped so i'm a little rusty.)
Xylus 'Bex' Thanos (played anonymously)

"So, this arrangement is temporary?" Bex responded to Arashi's words, entirely ignoring Lu. Now that he was inside the impressive, luxurious building, Bex found that he could understand the language perfectly, and respond in kind. Most likely it was part of the magical aura that permeated throughout this place.

Xylus' cloven hooves clacked softly with each step down the stone hallway. Inside his own mind, hewondered if he would be reunited with his own weapons; Xylus felt he would be at a disadvantage if he was not reunited with his beloved gladius, bow, and spear. He sized his comrades-in-chains up as they walked, knowing they would soon be his foes on the field.
