Hearing the shuffling of feet and rattling of waist side key rings outside of his cell, had it already been one full rotation, getting to his feet, Karai turned his head to the side to shield his eyes as radiant sun illuminated his cell revealing the many faces crammed inside."Aye you..." a sloppy obese key holder yelled in from the slid open peep hole. "Lord Mongul summons you to the arena." Waiting a few moments the guard hears no movement within. "Well, come on, I will not suffer my Lords wrath for your sluggish response." the keeper reasserted getting impatient, thinking of his Masters impatience. Unhinging what appeared to be a baton from his waist, the keeper decided he wanted to flex his authority in front of the populace. Pressing a hidden button on his batom the end pointing away from the man flared up, flinging to the side it morphed into a full fledged high frequency electrical whip, "Upgrade to the standard issue, since your last break attempt" Streaking the whip into the cell the man meant to strike fear using Karai as the example. It was a head on frontal attack, opting to dodge with a simple side step, his feet got caught up in the shackles lack of slack, getting nowhere Karai raised a forearm in defense, takinf the direct hit, the blow must have severed a few tendon as his right arm dropped lifeless by his side as the gauntlet weights covering his hands took over...the other prisoners inside verbally protesting, "Come on, didn't he fight yesterday, it's got to be someone else's turn!!" The keeper growing more intolerant lashed his whip again at the ground causing sparks to fly scaring and silencing the room all in the single motion, "I do not make the rules, only one makes the rules here on War World and that's the strongest fighter and fearless leader Lord Mongul...I simply enforce every breath he takes" "And as long as he has he eyes on this, this HALF-BREED, the boy will continue to fight and in time he will become our greatest weapon."
Grabbing Karai by the collar of his tattered standard in prison garb: a now dingy pastel tank top, that used to be whene and a frayed tattered tan jumpsuit with his prisoner ID # sewn right into it, 707..Attempting to pull Karai out the cell by force, the keeper met an impasse when Karai shackles again halted his movement, "Alright the lot of ya come on..." Two more figures standing up and stepping in line behind Karai they filed out into what they found to be a one way large corridor which housed all the cell, there's was just futherest back.
Moving down the hall in the only way available, the trio and guard soon cane to a large collessum door, the disproportionately obese man leaning up against doors the slowly creaked open allowing the corridor to be filling with yammering incoherent voice of the audiences boo's and cheer's...Shoved through the threshold, the two shackled to him had no choice but to follow suit before the doors were abruptly shut behind them...hearing the synchronized trumpeting of a new challenger pierce the sound barrier that was the audience, Karai hearing a slight beeping coming from his containment gauntlets, a device turning inside his gauntlets Karai felt pressure release from around his hands and forearms before the contraptions freed themselves from his arms dropping between his feet leaving a small crater in the ground revealing there deceptive weight, the two accompanying shackles also released as if by the flick of switch. Looking at the wound on his arm Karai stuck his finger in his wound purposely cause pain to ready himself for battle, squatting down just enough to touch his former gauntlets, Karai began absorbing their properties creating a full body armour for himself to aid him in this upcoming battle, this was his second to last round before he could taste freedom, win this match and the next and he would be a free man...

Alex looked at his hands as his cuffs fell. He clenched his right hand and rubbed it, doing the same on the opposite hand. Looking up at Karai he asked to him, "Well this looks like it'll be sooo much fun. Don't you love fighting t the death?" Alex scanned the area for anything of use before returning his glare to Karai. His mind shot back to prison cell, dark and cold too tight. He wanted to leave but he was to fight before this would happen. Whether he would be freed or not depended upon how these two warriors were in battle, this he feared the most. He feared they would not last, nor would he.
Sky watched from near by she never liked to fight and she wasn't allowed to for she was a woman and one of the rulers personal slaves a life she would gladly trade of anything.she sat in silence as she watched the fighters before her she frowns as she knows she will end up cleaning up the blood later she then sighs as she feeds him another fruit.....she would do anything to get out of this

Karai stepping forth, he felt a small jolt from the power dampening collar heavily restricting his abilities. Finding noone else with a collar, Karai surmised the collar was a prototype and what better place to try it than in a gladiatorial setting such as this. Karai's group the closest in history to "lawfully" regain their freedom by fighting up to this very moment.
Mongul,(Karai refuses to call him Lord), appeared overhead, as only a head hologram, "You have exceeded my expectations to be honest, but none have escaped War World, winner's nor losers, and I'm not about to let you tarnish my stainless record ...Let's see how you fare against a trio if war cave trolls!!" Alex quickly snapped his neck this way and that, making sure he knew his surroundings. Once he got a good idea he looked up and saw a holographic head speaking. Once that had finished he heard Karai speak. "I was hoping that would be so." He was a decent fighter but something such as this posed a threat. In truth, he was hoping it would be a few soldiers, but no, it was what it was and he would fight his hardest no matter what it was.
Watching a collessum gate raise, Karai heard a deep war cry cone from within before watching 3 behemoths sized creature's spill out, they wore crudely shaped armour helms,jagged blades and breastplates... Karai speaking in foreign tongues to himself, he snapped back to reality, returned to using the tongue of man, "There armour is weak underneath the arms and the little area exposed of the neck....Looking at the 3rd member of there party. Karai spoke to the smaller statured green companion.appearing no older than teenage years, with slight protective fondness "Be careful Garth, we still don't have a clear grasp on your new powers...Stay within your means, watch each other's back... Here they come?!"
Sky watched the scene below her with interest she wondered if the fighters remember that cave trolls have incredibly tuff skin that would take for ever to pierce through she used all the current power she had while she wasn't feeding mongul his food and sang a clear soft note that seemed to put the large cave trolls slightly at ease just long enough for the fighters to make the first move and take the advantage she sighed as mongul notices her doings and uses a large metal rod to zap her she screams in pain as the trolls senses seem to be dulled temporarily

Seeing the trio of beasts suddenly grow aloof, Karai would use this hesitation in their advance to make his own move. Focusing his will Karai rearranged the metals atomic structure over his hands creating a pair of double edge broadswords. Dashing forward Karai used the distraction from an unknown source to his advantage.
Dodging the initial strike of a giant club with a last second side step, Karai leaped at the beasts chest. Shoulder bashing the creature the sent it falling back a few steps tripping up it's advancing team, awaiting his teammates to make a move he wondered what kind of abilities they possessed.
