I'm throwing out an idea here for a Star Wars rp based on what Rogue One was originally planned to be like or the game Star Wars 1313. I'm thinking of a more mature, dark, and gritty Star Wars RP potentially focusing on a group of rebels who are attempting to interfere with the Empire's perceived evildoings be it construction of a Death Star, invasion of planets, etc. etc.
One possible plotline would be after stealing something from the Empire or causing a significant loss or setback to them, the rebels become hunted down one by one by a Sith, perhaps Darth Vader, or bounty hunters, etc. which would result in large battles in an attempt to defeat the advances of the Empire. Players could choose between Empire and Rebels.
Alternatively, it could be an RP focusing on battles fought and the military campaign between the Rebels and the Empire on several key planets. Battles would take place in several different biomes on drastically different planets, resulting in changing battle strategy and advantages and disadvantages.
I guess my ideal rp group would be from 5 to 10 people.

Magic may be accepted as truth but is not common. It might be harnessed only by specific beings. Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones.
Far future, perhaps interstellar travel (faster than light)
Wartime/soldier RPs. Combat is a given and will likely be graphic, but there's the potential for non-combat "in the trenches" scenes. World War 2, Vietnam, etc.
Details: Freeform, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred.

Sounds good. I think the era will be during the Galactic Civil War so stormtroopers rather than clones

I have always wanted to do a star wars Rp but they always fall short. But I have Kira here. He is of the blind force sensitive race Miraluka. I'd like to forego using a lightsaber altogether and be a grey Jedi of sorts the specializes in the supplementary aspects of the force, if that's okay with you all.

I said clones meaning he worked with them during the clone wars, then survived Order 66. Apologies.
Interesting idea, could I perhaps play a mandalorian?
