Maxine leapt through the air from the top of the two story building and landed on the ground with a small shiver of blue dust forming around her. She had her dark cloak around her, with her hood up to cover her face as she ran. A tiny chime of a bell was heard and she waved her hand making blue dust as tiny crystals glowed, she then disappeared and reappeared on top of another building. Guards ran to the scene and shouted looking under carts and inside of crates for her. Maxine hid in the shadows of the night on top of building watching the guards run around looking for the slightest clue of where she was, and asking the people around them with a picture of her.
Jack sat on the skippers chair of his boat, clicking his fingers to generate a flame and blowing it out, again and again, on yet another sleepless night. the look of the flame ontop of the starry sky had appealed to jack, who had been finally nodding off when he had noticed a commotion coming from the barracks, and hopes to hell that they hadn't realised about the food that he had nicked from earlier in the evening
Maxine hopped from building to building trying to be as quiet as possible, only succeeding to the point of landing and quiet, quick foot patter though the night. She didn't know where she was going, but with her precious cargo, she needed to go somewhere safe.
Lolface was walking through the streets minding his own business, noticing all the commotion he when to the top of a building looking at all the trouble from high up.
hand on pistol, jack had tensed up at the sound of the approaching uproar, and thought to himself, "I doubt they would be *this* mad over some meatloaf. It wasn't even so great"
Maxine jumped behind Lolface and froze quickly shifting to go behind a nearby barrel looking around to see where to jump next.
Lolface noticed the sound of some one hitting the ground, he quickly turned around looking at what that sound was. He spots a barrel, puling out his p250 and aiming at the barrel, he slowly moved towards the back of the barrel to see if there is anything there.
Maxine turned and saw lolface making eye contact with her icy blue eyes. She then waved her hands and disappeared into a glow of blue dust. A bright blue light behind Lolface began to shine and Maxine ran out of it and jumped to another building not caring about how loud she was anymore, just wanting to get away.
jack heard some commotion from the building about him, quickly strapped down the last bit of the cargo and reluctantly had his hand on his sidearm, a family revolver, nicknamed 'the deadeye'
Lolface put away his p250 and pull our his AR15 aiming towards Maxine. He slowly squeezes the trigger, but pulls back and giggles "Good luck cops, you will have a hard time trying to catch her"
Maxine ran shivering slightly tripping over a odd cable and falling off the building entirely. She stifled a scream and shook her crystals making them glow as she landed and whined softly in pain holding her shoulder. She hid in the alleyway behind crates and boxes making a soft glow to heal her small wound that actually hurt much more than what you would think.
Lolface noticed Maxine falling off the building, he sprinted to where the fall was, not seeing maxine, he noticed a glow coming from a alleyway, slowly walking in the alleyway he noticed maxine behind some crates.
Maxine shivered looking up to Lolface scooting back slightly, she felt a pain shoot though her and she held her shoulder. She nervously looked away from Lolface to her shoulder to continue healing it. She didn't say a word.
jack, who is on his ship, decided that while he was on edge, he would sharpen his knife, seeing that he already had it out. he had noticed some faint glowing and the sound of guards, but he decided to ignore it
Lolface slowly walked up to Maxine, Taking his leather jacket off, he puts it over maxine so the glow wasn't highly noticeable "nice fall you had there"
Maxine blinked and looked at the jacket. She slowly nodded looking down at the ground. She still didn't talk, she seemed slightly worried about something. Looking around Lolface she sighed softly and with relief that no one else had seen her fall.
Lolface notice Maxine holding her shoulder "is it going to fully heal?"
She opens her mouth then closes it and nods. She slowly stands up and wobbles leaning on the wall with her good shoulder. "Not all the way right now.... my magic is limited right now with healing and fighting, all I can really do is run...." She whispered in a hoarse voice.
Lolface stands up "then we should move, we don't want to cops catching you do we?"
jack goes to sleep seeing as nothing really interesting is happenening (be back later, in a few hours)
