Why yes! I discovered Starbound a couple years ago when it was in Early Access, and the character I played in that game became one of my favorites, so I've been playing them everywhere since. Recently I went back to the game now that it's finished, and it's just a joy to play. I really like the strange, bizarre yet warm and fuzzy universe they managed to create in that game. All the races are interesting and memorable, with my personal favorites being the Florans, of course 
The only thing I wish they'd fleshed out more was cities and other communities. Other than the randomized settlements, which are lovely but all more or less the same, we get maybe one or two canonical locations to play in, meaning that anyone who wants to RP in places other than those has to make their own.
