The Primians of Waterleaf have for centuries been isolated from the rest of their world. Living within a forest growing from the depths of the ocean and reaching high into the clouds, they never once considered traversing the endless blue horizon that surrounded them. But when a Primian scientist broke this trend, making the species' first long-range sea vessel, everything changed. All over the television network came reports of a new discovery that proved what scientists had been saying all along - the planet's surface was more than just ocean... there were huge areas of hard surface that extended above the sea. Never given a formal colloquial name, it was down to the enigmatic explorer to give this phenomenon a name. And a name indeed she gave it. Land.
Looking for a partner for a 1x1 RP based on this scenario to play a fellow Primian, alongside my 12-year-old character Kiro. After hearing about the discovery of land on the news and subsequently meeting each other for the first time, the pair are destined for an eventual adventure beyond their imagination. (Obviously if you don't have a monkey-like character, you can use another character and give them Primian features for the RP).
In this RP, Primians are a race of human-like primates. They differ from humans through their monkey-like feet and prehensile tails, designed for living amongst the trees of their homeland. Their technology is reminiscent of modern day, with a few differences, based on their local geography and lack of travel beyond their country-sized forest. Some Primians (like Kiro) are almost identical to humans in their other features. Others are practically intelligent monkeys with human postures. They live in houses built into the sides of trees and travel between them using their climbing and acrobatic abilities and spider-like climbing vehicles.
Please no sexual content or adult romance. Partners aged 16+ are preferred, and must be capable of at least a paragraph per post.
EDIT: Opening this up for anyone who would want to play as any other arboreal species they may have created or are using. The society living in the trees can be made to a multi-species civilisation in such a case.

Um... I mean you're welcome to RP this scenario with me... so long as you have or can create a character who at the least can be altered to fit the setting. Seeing that the only character that currently exists on your profile is a demon, I do feel I should point out that there are no supernatural elements in this RP scenario (so no demons).

Opening up this scenario so that you don't have to play as a Primian. If you have a character that is part of any other arboreal species or can be altered to be part of one, they're perfectly acceptable too.
