The Crystal Gem rebellion had won the war. The fight to protect earth was finally over... but not without consequences. Many gems have been shattered, many gems are now corrupt and running rampant on earth due to the mysterious corruption song. Several Homeworld gems have evacuated the planet, but many were left behind. Some of the Crystal Gems remain loyal to their charismatic and strong leader Rose Quartz, but some gems from the rebellion are now questioning their leader. Did she shatter Pink Diamond? What was her plans and intentions in the first place? These questions have caused many Crystal Gems to abandon the rebellion and go their separate ways.

OOC Info: This roleplay will take place in the Steven Universe world about 5,000 years ago right after the final battle between the rebels and homeworld. While earth is abundant with life such as plants, animals and ancient humans the world is incredibly dangerous with big, dangerous animals, corrupted gems, and a world that no gem is very familiar with.
Rules:
1. I feel like I shouldn't stay this, but please use your common sense, as a roleplayer and a person. Respect one another, don't meta game and god mod, don't mix IC feelings with OOC feelings. If you have a gut feeling that you shouldn't do something, then don't do it. If you need help with anything message SapphireSkylines.
2. You can play a gem or a human. If you want to play a human though, please keep in mind that this takes place in the Bronze Age of human history. Do your research.
3. Romance RP and flirting is fine however, please keep in mind that this is a PG-13 roleplay. Keep erotic rated R roleplay in PMs or elsewhere that isn't the public forum.
4. I don't mind if you want to play a canon character, but since I primarily want OCs I am going to be extremely picky about who gets canon character roles. Make your character sheet be the very best, like no one ever was.

Appearance: Kyanite has long wavy teal hair and has a sky blue skin tone and dark brown eyes. She wears a Grecian styled dress that is floor length along with a pair of gladiator sandals. Kyanite's gem is navy blue and oval shaped, and it's located on her left shoulder. She may also be seen with her primary weapon and instrument - her lyre. Kyanite made with Gemsona Maker.
Faction: Previously Crystal Gem, now Independent.
Personality: Normally, Kyanite is usually a very cheerful and friendly gem who enjoys music and dancing. Since her training with the Crystal Gems she had also come to appreciate the early human societies and their culture. Lately however due to recent events, Kyanite has been very alone and depressed. Losing her friends to the war and corruption had caused Kyanite to be sad and angry. At this point the only things that are motivating her from not just giving up on everything are her wants to protect the human race and to find a way to cure her corrupted friends. She is very cautious around other gems since they could either be a Homeworld gem who has a vandetta against her or a Crystal Gem who might want to persuade her to come back or call her a traitor.
Backstory: Kyanite was made for the purpose of serving Blue Diamond. She was assigned to be a Sapphire's personal healer and bard in her entourage. Over the years Kyanite and her Sapphire had become close friends and would talk for hours on end and sing songs together. One fateful day the rebels attacked, one of Sapphire's ruby guards fused with her and caused a riot among the gems who saw. Blue Diamond wanted to shatter the ruby who fused with a member of her court, but Sapphire and Ruby both ran away. That was when Kyanite abandoned her post against her diamond's wishes to search for her missing friend.
Kyanite finally found Sapphire at the Crystal Gems rebel camp. At first Kyanite was very guarded and unsure of Sapphire's new fusion and being around the rebels, but she eventually warmed up to it and gained a new friend - Garnet in the process. Kyanite then decided to become a crystal gem after much persuasion that the earth needed to be protected. Kyanite made a lot of friends among the Crystal Gems and trained hard to be a great asset to the team. During the rebellion's battles, Kyanite fought long and hard.

She tells her Pearl about the war, though not much because she thinks Pearl should remain as her pure self and would prefer that she stays away from the war stuff.
Left behind by the diamonds along with her Pearl, Onyx now wanders the Earth, poofing gems that could possibly be a threat to the Diamonds, along with avoiding becoming corrupted herself. Though slightly annoyed with the Diamonds for leaving her behind, she has a grudge against the Crystal Gems for starting the war though, thanks to a few talks with her Pearl, she believes that they can be shown the right path and comeback to the Diamonds as loyal followers once more.
Personality: Strict leader when she's under stress though she can also be rather fair when needed, making sure that she gets her job done plus has gems on her side. Confident Onyx also can be humoured easily and enjoys making others laugh too, when it's appropriate.
Height: roughly 7.5 feet. Just about taller than Garnet.
Special skill/power(?): Onyx is a strategist thus can overcome many problems in a matter of seconds. can perfectly, mimic voices and noises.
