A detective, in the height of their career is having trouble solving his newest case. well, not so new, more like put off because of more pressing matters. However, due to the recent low activity the detective has some belief that the mafia is now behind it.
The detective on one of his late nights runs into the only open coffee shop in town where they happen to run into their old friend from high school. Their old friend and them take time to catch up and the detective explains his newest case and its problems. To the detectives surprise their old friend became a profiler and is now looking for a job in the city. His qualifications as such are, a psych B.S. and time spent with the B.A.U. at the F.B.I. headquarters. The Detective gives them a chance. However, PLOT TIST! His old friend the profiler is the head of the mafia and is purposely throwing off the detective so they can remain close and hopefully fall in love. well at least the profiler/mafia boss hopes so.
