If anyone knows how to give advice on this thank you. I currently have writer block on how to write about a character that slowly becomes unhinged and then fully becomes unhinged? Because all the stuff i try to search for doesn’t help me. My character is also not a villain so she wouldn’t fit in that category.
Though some more information. She gets kidnapped by someone she hates and slowly over time becomes unhinged because of them and her environment.

I think it would help to think about what you mean by "unhinged". Does she start hallucinating? Seeing things, hearing things, smelling or feeling things that aren't there? Does her personality drastically change over time? Does she experience mania, or psychosis?
