Hey all! Currently invested in writing a story for a super old character of mine! More info below!
First off, a bit about me:
I'm Noeul (or Snow, whichever you prefer), 26, she/they/he, author of 15+ years, artist, gamer and dog mom!
Please always assume that I'm busy; I might not always be around to chat, and my responses to the RP can vary from once every other day to once a week. I do my best to be as communicative as possible if I might not be able to respond for a bit!
That said, I DO love to get to know each other! I love sharing playlists, memes, art, pinterest boards, what-have-you. Don't be afraid to send me anything not pertaining to the RP.
I am primarily a multi-para to novella writer, and my style of writing can lean more into the cryptic, flowery and poetic range, third-person past-tense. However do be warned that my general style of writing morphs and adapts because I write as a hobby and for fun, not for severe professionalism.
What I'm looking for:
- A patient partner.
- Long-term.
- Someone who enjoys discussing characters and the stories we create together! I really want someone who is just as invested in this as I am.
- Someone comfortable with a slightly large cast! While my guy I plan to use will be my main for sure, I may bring in some other OCs just to give the story more depth over time. That said, I'm fine with you just playing one character or having others too!
What I'm not looking for:
- Short replies, one-liners, script. I need a bit of depth to work off of and to really keep me engaged.
- Godmodding/powerplaying. When in doubt, just ask!
- Rude or manipulative partners. Nasty attitudes simply won't be tolerated, towards me or my characters.
Now, onto the premise:
My OC is a super old character of mine so he means the world to me! He is the guardian of time and has been through a lot — extremely antisocial, bitter and jaded as a result. He became estranged with his original family, and then forged a small community/clan that became his second much later on in life. He had a partner that meant the universe to him, but when he lost contact with her and the rest of the community, everything changed.
This is a SFW only (meaning no smut or romance) story, as I'm exclusively looking for a character that could be his biological kid (any age/gender/appearance). I've been wanting to explore that dynamic of my guy finding out the truth of their existence and how it's been kept from him for so long — that and obviously trying to be a newfound father.
I can provide additional details as the setting and lore is kinda extensive, but nothing that needs to be kept aware of for the roleplay.

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Near future, perhaps cloning and genetic manipulation
Combat is woven into the storyline and could come to the forefront if the characters seek it out.
No romance at all will be included in this plot, period.
