Usually when I post a new RP, I make pretty long posts. This is usually to create a sense of the setting I'm imagining. This time, though, I decided to keep things pretty simple. I don't really want to tell people what to do with my initial posts, but for the curious, this is a medieval fantasy (my preferred genre) and although the character I've selected is from a particular region, the mountains being introduced here are not a part of that region. I wanted to keep things open to interpretation this time.

So, besides the medieval fantasy constraint, you can basically do what you want. Do you want to play a human? Elf? Dwarf? Dwelf? Magic dragon? Troll tax collector? Knock yourself out! All I hope for is a sense of respect for fellow players. Anyone can join; I try to keep any potentially spicy topics to a minimum, though I'm not going to police what your characters do or don't do. There can be fighting, but I try not to get too descriptive or dark about it with forum rps; just in case anyone might be uncomfortable with that. That said, if your character is of a short temper or violent disposition, that's ok too. Just try to keep things PG. Oh, and last but not least: feel free to do romance-y things, but keep in mind that I do not really do that sort of thing, so my characters are unavailable. Don't stop on my account if you find your character(s) and someone else's mingle well, though.
