Hi! So as the title suggests, I'm looking to do a fairly slice-of-life-ish RP with my character Chiharu. They're a kitsune who works at a café in a modern fantasy setting, the specifics of which can be discussed. Chiharu usually disguises themself as a human, and depending on what we decide about the setting, non-humans might be hidden from humans, or they might be well-known. They might coexist peacefully, or there could be interspecies conflict. Again, that can be discussed and I'm down for whatever suits my partner's preferences. If you're really into worldbuilding, we could work out lots of details regarding the setting before we start, but if that's not your thing, we can just go over it quickly to make sure we're on the same page about everything.
One important thing to note is that this RP will be platonic. Chiharu isn't interested in romantic relationships and I don't enjoy writing romance, so if you're looking for that type of thing, I'm probably not the right roleplay partner for you... This also applies to sexual content; both my character and I are uninterested in and quite uncomfortable with it, so it won't be an option.
Aside from that limitation, though, this RP is open to all sorts of relationship dynamics. I'm especially interested in some wholesome friendship between the characters, with them just hanging out, going through life with shenanigans and little adventures, a mix of silly and serious moments... I'd love for Chiharu to have a best friend that they meet and gradually grow very close to.
But on the other hand, the characters don't have to be besties. They could clash for various reasons (though Chiharu is extremely nonconfrontational, so if there's conflict, they likely won't be the one to start it), or start by clashing but slowly become friends, or, well, they could just get along great with no trouble. Found family is also an option; I adore found family.
This RP has room for angst or hurt/comfort themes, as Chiharu has some trauma and other issues, all of which they try to ignore, (and maybe your character does too, I don't know them) and the world may or may not be a nice place at present. That being said, we can also go without the unhappy stuff and keep things to the lighthearted/silly side, depending on how we're feeling.
I don't have any super specific plot ideas, and your character can be pretty much anyone. Both humans and magical/supernatural creatures are welcome. Of course, whether your character is human or non-human, and how non-humans are seen/treated in the world, could affect the plot and character relationships quite a bit.
Some possibilities for your character could include, but are not limited to...

• Chiharu's coworker. Maybe your character just started working at the café? Or, conversely, Chiharu could be the new hire and your character could have worked there for a while. In either case, the newbie could learn the ropes from their new coworker and friendship could develop from there.
• A customer at the café. They could just as easily be a regular or a new customer and, for one reason or another, they decide they want to get to know Chiharu, or vice versa.
• Chiharu's new roommate. They share an apartment and maybe they hit it off right away, or maybe they don't, but either way rent is expensive so they'll probably want to make it work.
• A fellow supernatural creature. What if there was some kind of like... non-human support group, either online or in person, and our characters become friends after meeting in that group.
• An overly curious human. They really want to learn about the supernatural and, after somehow finding out Chiharu is a kitsune, your character starts trying to befriend and/or learn about them.
• Whatever other ideas you may have! I'm super open to suggestions so if you want to RP, please message me and tell me your ideas and the character you'd like to use
