Greetings~
Name is Bear and I currently live in a camper and love to travel all of the time! Been to many places and I constantly explore the wilderness with my family! Been through many trial and errors in the process of transitioning from what is known to the single-family home dream. Still I would never trade this life style for anything. ☺️
Feel free to ask any questions in regards to my camping life style!

You’re living my dream life.
How big is the camper? Does it have a working toilet or shower? Is it more or less expensive than the previous house you had? What are your plans long term? To do this forever?

So I currently own a 2018 keystone hideout 192LHS camper. It's fairly decent medium size for a small family. It originally had big tanks and such for working toilet and shower but we decided it was best to just rip that out and instead do a portable toilet. Then with the shower convert that for a camping portable shower with a water bag attached it. You want hot water? Just warm it up over at the cast iron stove with a pot then put it the bag.
Makes the camper easier to maintain now and much cheaper instead of having to go to campsites for waste drainage.
Now for you question on cheaper life style or not? Most definitely is, most expenses im dealing with is gas and that's only for my truck that I pull it with, though usually that's only when I'm traveling a lot. Other than that I stay around the state and campout at different camp sites or camp grounds if I felt like spending more money weekly. Which brings the second more expensive thing which is paying to be at camping grounds, I only do it once in a blue moon to be honest. The cost can add up though if you don't budget right. All together though, much cheaper than living in a single family, even just apartments as it is. It's still cheaper in my opinion and I see it as it's your own property too.
I plan to do this for a very long time, been contemplating if I want to save up on the side for a piece of land to station my camper on and make a farm out of it. Though its just an idea for the moment. ☺️ -Reply: Amelie Luna-

Like I said, living my absolute dream. I think your long term idea is great too.
How many places have you travelled that you doubt you would have without the camper?

There were many many places that I had been or camped in kinds of weather I never thought I'd have the guts to camp in but I never regretted a single one. One of my favorite traveling sites I go to yearly is definitely Yellowstone park. The campsites are always friendly and the wildlife is just a whole new different experience Everytime. I love going fishing there, going on trails, and hiking in the wilderness.
Never thought that a childhood dream to visit that place would've by ever become reality for me. Especially for the financial struggles with owning a single-family home. The leap we took to a completely new life style and was a lot. Yet, the experiences I have had so far with this life style is once in a life time. I always now follow by " you only live once. Make it count. "
You’ve convinced me! To be fair, I probably didn’t need much convincing, lol.
This is a wonderful topic. I’m happy you’re enjoying life.

Awe thank you so much. Honestly best advice I can give you is do lots of research on the life style and challenges that come with it. YouTube, Google, fact checking with mechanics as well. I was very much self taught with all of it. ☺️ I wish you the best of luck! I'm glad I was able to inspire you! 💞
How do you handle things like mail and shipping?
I always wanted to live like this! Sadly, my country is not really good for this type of life.
How do you make money, for the gas and such? Remote jobs, odd jobs, etc?
