I've been thinking about cursed spirit OCs a lot, and I've been trying to think of fears people have and how that could translate into a cursed technique and cursed spirit.

One idea I have is loss/grief but still can't decide how I'd make that a cursed technique. I might want to consider places that hold negative emotion too that could work (for example a Loss curse being born in a hospital)

I want to hear how you would make a cursed spirit and what fear you would use to do so, as well as what CT it'd have, so let me know!

For loss/Grief theres one route that Easily comes to mind, albeit kinda cheap depending. And that's reading someones mind and knowing what they have emotions towards, then making the character a "Vicious mockery". Using their emotions to attack and using illusions.

I hadn't thought of that, but for a grief curse I had the idea of a domain that makes you sink, kind of like Megumi's shadow. You could also go with shikigami that are like stages of grief. (Jogo kuroroushi has shikigami so I'd assume its viable) But the appearance of a curse is avoiding me too because my brain largely works in humanoid which curses rarely are traditionally human looking besides maybe the disaster curses who are humanoid in their own way
