From above the letter fluttered down and landed in the creatures cell. It was from his pen pal, from whom he hadn't heard a thing from in over a month due to the execution of the scientist from the floor above that was passing the notes back and fourth. This was the first letter he had gotten in a while, and the apparent last letter they would ever exchange. York sat back in his cell, "soon we will be free to explore the world my depressed friend, right the wrongs of the past." This was all said to no one but himself, he was ready to be free for a long time, and now it was almost here.
Tiberius saw the letter and decided to read. It was from his pen pal "Angry Ram."
The nine full moons rise tomorrow, every moon will be full if you catch my meaning. Follow the dark woman, she has the stars in her hands and is coming up to the sky, Well meet in person soon.
Tiberius had a feeling this was referring to a jailbreak sometime soon. But Tiberius was uncertain if he wanted to break free. "If I make it out of here, I'll just kill more creatures I don't want to," he said to himself. Deep down, the creature wanted to stay in solitude because he lacked a purpose that made him want to be free. One day he killed a man out of self defense, and it haunted him ever since. He doesn't want to repeat what happened that day.

Two levels bellow the monster and four levels bellow Ramsley York, Rro sat in his cell, as the door opened a cold light rushed in then vanished returning the cell to a pitch black emptiness, but the footsteps of that giant metal warden could be heard along with the moan of a familiar tone. "Iveth?" Rro put his palms on his face and filled his eyes with a thin layer of blood, pulling his hands away from his face he could see slightly as if a hazzy red light were lit from just above him. No such light existed but thanks to his abilities, he witnessed the Ogr3 with Iveth, unconscious, tossed over his shoulder. "There you are princess." But as soon as he said that Cleo Patrick began to make noise.
'That's her, I can feel it. I recognize her from when she attacked my crew and I four years ago!' Rro was confused, but then it clicked as Cleo continued, 'THAT'S CLOVE!!!" Using his blood arts he manipulated Iveth's beaten body to unhook the chain around Ogr3's neck. As it fell, Ogr3 tripped dropping Iveth... Clove, on the prison's black stone floor. A hundred different keys slid across the floor going every which way, prisoners grabbed the keys as did Rro, trying as many as he could. Finally he found his key, opening his door he realized that there were eight special keys that opened the doors to different floors, he found three of these special keys and tossed "Clove" over his shoulder. A prisoner had already found and opened the key to the level eight frozen hell.
As Ogr3 stomped about breaking prisoners in half, Rro slipped out. He assumed that they would be able to find more keys as they continued upward but as of right now, level eight was a blood bath... "We're getting out of here Clove, just you and me!" As they ran up the stairs Rogers noticed two of the cages were open, John Davy the Shark Man and previous Pirate Lord of the West. And Cleo Patrick, goddess of the Sand, previous Pirate Lord of the North before Clove. "I bet the found some of the door keys as well," Rogers sighed, but he continued to run up until he was on the sub zero, bitter cold level, of Hell 7... The Frozen Prison.

The pain that surged through her body when she hit the ground was more than enough to bring her out of her unconscious state, and she fought her eyes to open, but when she did all there was was black yet there was so much clamor. As she shifted to get up she was immediately struck back down by the sharp throb in her collarbone. With her hand she inspected it and through her hesitance she merely brushed it with the tips of her fingers. The bone prodded her skin, creating a clear bulge on her shoulder. It was undeniably broken. In realizing this she began to feel other injuries, both severe and minor. Surely she had a few fractured, perhaps on or two broken. Two or three of her fingers were most definitely broken. The side of her face was sticky and her hair held patches fresh blood from her head. She could imagine she had bruises in many places, all of them aching evenly. Even her jaw felt out of proportion, but it didn't hurt as much. Maybe she just got hit hard enough to think it was fragmented.
Light protruded from far down the hall, the light nearly stinging her eyes as she made another effort to sit up. Which floor was this? She wasn't given much time to think before she was, once again, thrown over someone's shoulder. Her pummeled body didn't take nicely to the movement and her scream was silent, but her fingers dug deep into the back of the one who provoked the pain. Who the hell..?
Once he spoke up she could easily identify the voice as Rro. So, he had been in here all this time. "Put me down," she rasped out, however, her voice was less than a whisper of a breath. His every movement struck a nerve and she could not cope with this sort of pain the entire way. By the time they reached The Frozen Prison she was wheezing every breath and being draped over his shoulder hindered her ability to breathe, not to mention speak. In order to get that message across she dug her nails into his skin, disregarding whether she drew blood or not. Put me down goddammit!

He lowered her down gently on a snow bank, "glad to see you alive!" Rro laughed, prisoners were running around this frozen area waiting for someone to open the door to the next Level. "So what do we got?" He asked himself letting the three heavy keys drop into the snow, they were about the size of butcher knives, and he read the numbers on them. "Two, Four, Five..." So they could get from floor six to floor five, floor five to floor four, and floor three to floor two. "We need to find the three key..." His plan was to follow the prisoners up the ranks but at floor five lock them out. While guards rushed downward they'd try to slip upward unnoticed. "So how have you been?"
It was safe to say that she felt three times better when he'd set her down, but the throbbing never ceased and she doubted it would for a long while. She was able to see all the bruised that marred her skin and as Rro took account of the keys he had she painstakingly leaned down to grab handfulls of snow to press against the areas that were already beginning to swell. She glanced over the keys as well before applying the snow that made her fingers tremble. "Someone is bound to open it. What do you need it for?" she grumbled, more so due to the pain than her irritation with him. Iveth shot him an incredulous look as he asked the most insensitive question he could possible ask. "Funny how you ask," she ground out, wiping the blood from her brow and cheek with her wrist. Briefly, she glanced behind him at the prisoners who ran wild, some waiting and some searching restlessly for the key to the next door.
"Don't move," Rro sighed, he pressed his hand against the middle of her chest. She probably began to feel her bones crack painful as they slid back into place. After a few moments blood clots under her skin formed internal casts and though her heart was now beating three times as fast, the pain was cut in half. Rro's skin looked rather white as he pulled his hand away from her body, it was a lot of work repairing a person from the inside out. "Don't tell ANYONE about that, especially Griffon." He didn't want it part of his legendary story that he had helped anyone, especially another pirate lord. "Next order of business," he said collecting the keys and looking around in the blizzard of white. "Why the hell didn't you tell me you were the Pirate Lord of the North...?"
Her eyes shifted warily between his him and his hand up until she felt her bones shift painfully and she inclined a bit, undergoing the brief yet excruciating process. Her heard had quickly gone turbulent in her chest though the pain lessened to a more manageable extent. No longer were her breaths shallow, and she had more freedom to move without the pain being there every moment she tried. It wasn't hard to see that it had taken a toll on him, his skin pale as if half his soul had been robbed. Had she not been so tired she would've asked why he required it to be a secret, but in the end she wouldn't care to tell though she didn't verbally or visibly comply. His question, though, made her frown. "Oh, am I obliged to tell you everything?" she said in a sarcastic undertone. "Be logical Rro, I wouldn't trust you even if you had to hammer and I had to hold the nail," she slipped one of the keys from him, feeling up the metal before giving it back. "I can work as a magnet and attract all the keys, but it might lead everyone to try and take them from us if they're not in their right mind.."
He had heard of her powers, to mysteriously disarm entire ships. This was truly Clove, the woman worth twelve million Silvers, the ghost of the Sea. Rro smiled, "I guess that is fair, I haven't been all telling myself but now that I see you as more of an equil we should be buds." Rro was also using a fairly sarcastic tone, "as Pirate Lords we are like the brother and sisters of crime." He laughed at his own joke as he contemplated her idea, "the key idea... It wouldn't work, there are so many keys down there." He sighed, and Ogr3 is the only thing down there that I can't blood bend." If she were to use magnetism, Ogr3 would surely feel it and come running. He wanted as much distance from that metal warden as possible. He had set Iveth pretty close to the door to the hell bellow, so he stood and used all his might to close the door bending him. Watching the key fall on this side sealing everyone inside. "I don't know how strong the Warden is, but I assume he can bust through. Hopefully it will slow him down at least," he said returning to her side.
Clove was clearly not amused with him, staring him down in disdain as he wasted his breath trying to get his joke across. He was hardly different from a child. He must've really thought he was funny. No, she wouldn't applaud him if that what he was looking for. It was about time he had moved on from that, and he'd begun closing the thick metal door. It certainly didn't look easy, but she wasn't going to help him. She almost got pummeled to dust by Org3 on the possibility that he was down there. He'd best recognize that.
Slowly she stood and wiped the snow from her thighs, "Ramsley should be starting a riot in the fourth floor by now. There won't be as many guards coming down. He should've sent a letter down as well. The plan was to start havoc on every floor so we could slip out. We needed to get to you first if you were here and the only way to get to the lower floors was to be taken by Org3."

The plan was to start havoc on every floor so we could slip out. We needed to get to you first if you were here and the only way to get to the lower floors was to be taken by Org3."
"Wait, wait, wait," Rro never signed up for a full blown jail break. "Who is this Ramsley guy, I came in here to make sure you died fighting Black Beard, not rotting in some cell." He stood up with key 5, key 4, and key 2 secured in a small satchel he made out of his ripping prison shirt. "The less people, the faster we escape," he said. Rogers didn't want to have to follow some other persons plan when his would work just as well. "No riots, nothing extravigate.... Not yet." He didn't want a riot to get them caught on a lower level. It was better in his mind if everything stayed calm until they reached floor two or three. "Can you walk?" He asked shivering without his shirt on anymore, "cause we should get out of here before we freeze to death..."
On the Level bellow crew mates were sealed in with Ogr3, but believing that this was their only chance to escape they fought the giant to the death. Each inmate tossed around like a rag doll until they individually painted the floors and walls with their red stains. Ogr3 tore them apart one by one without remorse, a line of people up the stairs began attacking eachother trying to get out the giant metal door which was now closed and sealed from the outside. Everyone within the Hell of Darkness, floor eight, was doomed the moment Rro closed the door. Screams echoed upward, until there was only one left on the eighth floor. Angry and keyless, the warden made it's way up the stairs and began banging on the door wildly! Creating small dents in it, could the giant really break through? It was only a matter of time.
On the frozen floor above, inmates from the floor bellow scattered, waiting for the seventh key to reveal itself and open up so they could advance in their escape measures. Rro had key 5,4, and 2, but who had keys 7,6, and three??? Eventually an inmate tried to opened the door but he was soon killed and the key was taken. John Davy, the shark man stood infront of the seventh door. "No one gets through until Rro is brought to me!!!" He yelled holding the seventh key upward in the air, "I saw him make it through!!! Where is he???"

Clove was hardly surprised when she saw that Rro wasn't very delighted to hear there was another plan in play, only proving further that he was indeed a control freak. Any plan that wasn't his he wouldn't abide by it seemed. "Well if you think your plan is so much more brilliant then you should tell Ramsley, he's on the fourth floor, good luck," she said tersely, shuddering as if trying to keep the cold from affecting her. "Yes, I can walk," she tucked her fingers into her palm where they could be warmer. After having been roasted for so long the cold hit her hard and it would only be a matter of time before everyone in this floor froze to death.
Everyone was struck with alarm when Org3 began beating on the door and panic arose to an even higher extent. "Whoever has the seventh key can't wait forever," and it was then that everyone was silenced by John Davy. Clove had never really met the shark man in person and he was certainly as daunting as he was described to be, but no matter. The ex pirate Lord demanded Rro. Everyone's eyes turned to the two in which Clove clandestinely stepped away. She didn't care much for the grudge John kept, but as long as Rro wasn't killed they'd be able to make it out, however if they wanted to get to the seventh floor they'd have to put up a fight. Then again, with Org3 pounding against the metal door they were undoubtedly short on time.

"Thanks for the support," Rro chuckled, he had done battle with John long ago and his crew of fish people. They had been the only pirates in the history of the Open Blue to not have a ship... but a submarine. Steam punk metal and gears that pushed the machine and its crew forward across the ocean. Rro had known that they would not win battling in the open sea, so that had been his first battle in an Aqua Void, it was when he learned how to do battles in the air. And so here he was, after surviving the fall from such heights his crew and ship was gone, the navy thought he was dead so they made Rro the new Pirate Lord of the West almost eight years ago. "Your probably pretty sore about that one battle eight years ago, aren't you Davy?"
The Shark man roared upward into the blizzard as the blood from the inmate he previously killed, dripped from his mouth. The taste of blood turned his eyes red and his muscles grew two times as large, doubling in height and weight he was now about twenty feet tall, only slightly bigger then Ogr3 himself. 'You will pay in blood you smug prick!' The Shark man yelled as the other pirates pushed away from the battle, shivering in their prison rags. 'One of us dies here in, frost will coat your body Rogers!' The shark rushed at Rro, raising a hand Rro bent Davy's blood. After having healed Clove, he was a bit weak but he did cause the Shark man to trip over his own feet.
"Damn," Rro said as the Shark man stood, angrier then before. If Rogers had any hope of winning he needed a weapon, a gun of some sort.... but no guards came down this far in the prison! The Shark man charged again, and falling to one knee the blood bender stuck out both his hands trying to slow the shark, slowly but surely the giant fell to one knee as well. Davy was screaming loudly about how Rogers couldn't stop him, and as his hands began to shake violently Rro wasn't so sure he could. But that is when he remembered he didn't have to, "Iveth!" He yelled before correcting himself, hands still shaking he called out again, "Clove, the key on his belt!"

Rro was hardly in any condition to be boasting about their battle some eight years ago. His skin was still a sickly pale and as far as Clove could see he still didn't regain much if any colour. It would be a wonder if he could successfully take on Davy and it would be great since she, in fact, had no desire whatsoever to interfere.
The sharp cry of Davy caused everyone to flinch, their every move quickly becoming frozen as their attention was caught on the scene. Clove had a look of repulsion on her face towards the shark man. With their little given time he had already managed to swallow someone down. The bloodthirsty inmate had charged towards Rro only to be brought down by the Pirate Lord's blood bending and as Davy further expressed his fury Clove looked back to Rro. Even from afar she could see them trembling, supposedly straining to keep the Shark man down. As expected the blood bending failed after a moment or so, but Davy had been brought down once more and probably for the last time.
In hearing both her alias and her name she glanced to Rro. Now she had to take the key?? Org3 had already given her body a thorough beating. This shark could probably swallow her whole if given the chance, however, the longer she stood there in noncompliance the bigger that probably got. If they wanted to key the best time to take seemed none other than now. In reluctance she hastily trudged through the snow to the shark, ignoring the small pricks and aches of her body, and her hand thrust out for the key.

She did get the key but was back handed by the shark man a moment later, the beast then gave no mind to they key he had lost or the woman. 'Rogers, prepare to go from blood artist to Blood Art!' He screamed as Rro jumped out of the way landing in a pile of snow. It was cold but at the rate his heart was pounding he couldn't feel as cold as he probably should have. 'Face me coward!' Davy had rammed into one of the cages when Rro dodged, and now sharp broken bars lay ascue on the icy floor. This was one of the reasons this floor was so deadly, most the prisoners were aloud to walk about the floor freely, because if they didn't they'd most likely freeze to death in their cells.
Picking up two of the longer prison bars Rro tossed one in Iveth, I mean, Clove's direction. "Blood bending wouldn't be saving him this time, and since his only real other skills were gunning and navigation, this battle of metal and might, didn't look easy, "there's got to be a way to out smart him..." Rro looked around the frozen prison, he had to focus, he had to think, Survival in ATLANTIS 9 was their key to escaping for good.

As Ogr3 struggled to maintain the peace bellow, Admiral Gran was arranging troops on the first floor. "It's most likely the Pirate Lords on level eight are just having a little war of dominance. But I have no idea what we are to expect about Ogr3 being unable to hold onto his keys." The old woman sat low in a very large chair, she was petit but not at all soft Spoken. "I want to double security on levels two, three, and four!" If Ogr3 didn't get his keys back she wanted to be ready to fight the Pirate Lords head on. "No one has ever escaped Atlantis 9, and we will not let them black mark our reputation today!!!" The men saluted her as they left the room, it was going to be a battle royale... That was if they made it to the top floors in the first place.
Despite trying to avoid it she was still thrown back into the icy sting, her arms aching momentarily after having blocked. The key, fortunately, was in her grasp and by the looks of it Davy was either unaware she had it or was too captivated by his vengeance to care. Clove instantly pushed herself from the snow and found it harder to clench the key with her hands languid and nearly numb. In a slow movement she pushed it against her arm, spreading the magnetic field only as far as her skin. As long as her focus didn't falter, the key would remain in place.
The crash through the bars brought back her attention and her eyes shifted between Rro and the shark man. At the moment it was written on Rro's face that he was short on ideas though he salvaged a bar that both he and she could use as a last resort weapon. To her dismay it slipped right through her idle fingers when she attempted to catch it. An irritable growl emitted from her throat. She needed to get in some blood flow or she'd join all the others who succumbed to the unrelenting cold.
Sighing with a white puff forming at her lips she urged a steady flow I'm her arm as she reached down for the bar. Once it was in her grasp it flared to life, engulfed in the erratic flux of electrical discharge. It came when a ever screeching chorus. "Unless you have a better idea you're going to have to open the door," with the disadvantage that she wasn't familiar with Davy's abilities she still thought, as a Pirate Lord, that she could manage long enough for little helpless Rro to unlock the door to the 6th floor.

Davy turned and saw Clove with the key, growling he charged at the woman. Rro took this moment to run towards the door best he could, it was more of a speed walk, still impared with his metal leg. A few inmates moved back as he reach for the key. "Toss it!" Once the exchange was complete he opened the door, prisoners flooded into the warmth that was the stairwell to the sixth floor. Screams from the floor above created a traffic jam. People trying to get into the warmth and people trying to escape whatever was above that icy hell hole. "Move people!" Rro yelled, attempting to bend the blood of a guy or two, pushing the line forward. He fell backwards as people pushedby trying to return to the freezing cold, 'beasts, they ate that guys face!' Another nodded, panting. Rro sighed as he waited impatiently while people decided if they wanted to be eaten or freeze to death, either way was fine with him. He looked over as Iveth... Clove was fighting Davy.
Clove thrust herself out the way quick enough to evade Davy. With his large body she could imagine that he wasn't that quick, but if she didn't try to keep an appropriate distance then it'd be her blood seeping through his teeth. Either it was the cold or the very thought that made her shudder, but she glanced to Rro as he urged her to throw over the key. She complied, detaching it from her arm and tossing it to him.
The 6th floor was open. Now Davy is all they needed to lose. Or so she believed. "If you want your Pirate Lord title back you'll have to earn it," she taunted humorously as the lightning inhabited rod grazed the icy ground. Truthfully, Davy was nothing but a fish with legs. Who knew what would happen to him if he were to have a touch of her voltage.
