Shinoda heard the words 'mayor's son' and an idea suddenly hit him.As Tommy walked away,Shinoda looked at David."You thinking what I'm thinking?" he asked.
"Hmm... If you're planning on killing him then yes, if you aren't then no." David replied, hoping that it was the first of his ideas. "But, if it isn't... I can just assassinate both of them with ease."
"No,I was thinking of taking the kid hostage and holding him for a nice big ransom..."Shinoda said.Geez,sometimes he forgot just how trigger-happy David could be.
"He knows karate, if we get close... We can't do that... If we do we'll turn into rich snobs..." David replied, "Unless we split it between everyone to not make us rich but make everyone decently rich.."
Tommy then turned the corner and walked across the street into his Mom's house. He said "Hey Maw!" He smiled walking over and hugging her, she replied with "You have any trouble?" He said "Well Yes and No... Two guys tried to kill me and I took em down..." Her eyes widened saying "WHAT! HUNNY!" she grabbed him by the arm and walked out walking toward his Father's house she walked down the Ally way. She was popular for her kindness in the Ghetto her name was Ms. Marla.
"Hey! Ms Marla!" David waved over to her, kicking Shinoda as she approached. His rifle was sticking from his back, he had a smile on his face. He now was sort-of excited but... That kid that's with her... Oh no... It's him.. David thought, he knew for sure that he had told her what Shinoda tried.
She waved saying "Hey boys! I got to keep moving have to take my son to his Father's house... Right now..." She was so hypnotized by getting her son to his Father's house she didn't even see the guns. Tommy just stared at them as his Mother took him to his Father's house.
"Mind if I accompany you, Ms? I saw the men who attacked your son." David replied, jogging up to her and Tommy. He knew who had "tried to kill" Tommy. Please don't be bad, please, please.
She smiled then said "Sure and who attacked my son? because they are dead to me..." He showed David the middle finger and his mother slapped him on the back of the head saying "TOMMY ASARAH STOP BEING RUDE!" He stared at him viciously.
"Bro, I tried to stop Shin from attacking you.. And that's how you treat me? Damn.. Kindness doesn't do much to rich kids does it?" David shook his head and began walking back to Shinoda.
Tommy yelled "I WAS MINDING MY BUSINESS! I KNOW HOW TO SHOW KINDNESS AND ACCEPT IT BUT THAT'S NOT KINDNESS THAT'S COAXING A FRIEND DOWN FROM BEING STUPID!" His Mother continued dragging him off.
David sighed then turned around, taking the rifle from his back and aiming just above Tommy's head. He squeezed the trigger and the bullet grazed Tom's head, not causing any damage but taking a little bit of hair off.
His Mother turned around fury in her eyes she said "David Spaekev! Don't you ever shoot a gun near me or my son again I will call the police on you! I've treated you kind and like a son! Do not kid me!" She grabbed Tommy's arm saying "Hunny I love you but you can't come back here... It's too dangerous we'll meet up somewhere else..." She sighed and continued walking Tommy to his Father's house.
Shinoda had watched the little scene play out.When Tommy had flipped David off Shinoda had smirked,but when David had tried to shoot Tommy the smile fell from his face."I wasn't even going to hurt the kid,just scare him,but you actually shot at him."he said when David came back."So don't blame me saying I tried to hurt him."
David shrugged, "Don't like cocky kids, everyone knows that." He smiled, returning the rifle to his back, "Also, we have to leave, the police will be here soon.. That shot would be heard for god knows how far away." David replied. He knew that if he was caught he would be arrested, even Shinoda would be arrested for carrying firearms without a license.
Minutes later Tommy's mom kissed his head and he walked into his dad's condo he yelled walking in "Dad I'm home not like you care though!" He rushed to the balcony and looked over the edge at his Mom waving good bye to her. He started thinking Those dudes are crazy just because I'm rich doesn't make me a prick is that how most people in the Ghetto are like? I mean Maria and Tinsley(My other OC's) aren't like that but... maybe they are now...Wow... They saw me and hated me... What'd I do wrong? Is there a explanation? Doubt it... He went into his bedroom and started texting his friends that were in the Ghetto previously.
"Yeah we should go."Shinoda agreed.The two left,crossing the town and leaving the ghetto behind.They soon arrived at city hall,where people were gathering for the big mayoral event.They watched the building from across the street in the shadows as limos pulled up and finely dressed people entered the hall.Shinoda looked at David."You ready?"he asked.
"Hmmmmm.... Maybe I could set up on a ridge of sorts, or even a roof.. cover you if this all goes south.. The rifle isn't good at close range." He replied, scouting for a place to hide that's somewhere high or far away. He then pointed to a house that had conveniently placed air-outputs for easy climbing.
Tommy's Father said "Time to go Tommy it's me Larry Asarah running for Mayor and I'm top in the polls we just have to show up and I've won!" He grabbed Tommy's arm and threw him into the Limo sitting next to him he said "Be fancy for once in your life!" Tommy rolled his eyes and minutes later they arrived. Tommy's dad Larry got out of the car first and went up to the stage as they announced him the next Mayor. Tommy was left in the dust he was in the corner of the event. His Father smiled "Speech time! I would like to Thank Karrie my Wife and all those whom voted for me! I have great plans for this place great plans!" Tommy rolled his eyes as his father mentioned Karrie but not his mother or him. Tommy grabbed a drink secretly from the nearest waiter he then sat down farthest from the event drinking the Champaign.
Shinoda looked to the house David had pointed at."Sounds good."Shinoda said."Meanwhile I'll sneak inside."he chuckled."They're not going to know what hit them."Shinoda left David and went across the street to the hall.He entered with a small group of obnoxious rich people and looked around the room.There was the next mayor up on the stage,giving his acceptance speech.Shinoda narrowed his eyes as he watched the man give his thanks.Politicians disgusted Shinoda so much,the way they were so fake.But Shinoda pushed his feelings aside and focused on the job at hand.He started moving around the room,trying to get close to a door where he assumed the donations would be kept.As long as no one noticed him and called security he would be okay.
