I'm writing a research paper on John Milton and how the events in his life and the world around him influenced his writing of Paradise Lost. My problem is not that I need something edited, or I need help with the resources.

I need help with the title and the lasting thought!

I need a good title and a good lasting thought. The rest is pretty much just using my outline and adding some words and transitions. I can send the outline via email to anyone who wants to help, because in order to help me with the title and especially the lasting thought, the person needs to know what I plan to have in this paper.

Lasting thought? I've never heard that term before! Is it just like a thesis? Like a super-condense statement that encapsulates the paper?

A lasting thought is just as it sounds; it leaves the reader with something to really think on after reading the paper. Anyone can read a paper and be 'oh, sure, okay' and that's that. But a lasting thought makes them actually think about the paper and what it included.
