This RP is in the world of Unknown Armies, Second Edition. Not a strict game, GM may change to one of you
You have met up with your friends, and today is the day you have been training for. You are now helping the Sleepers track down the Scarred Men. It is time to track them down and stop them from committing more horrid acts. This world is not ready to know about magic, and the Scarred Men are starting to make magic apparent. We must stop them, and if necessary, kill them.
What we know about them so far is as follows:
Most of them gain power from harming themselves.
It is unwise to corner them when they have a knife, or they may melt your face.
You must neutralize them without making magic apparent to the rest of the world.
You and your friends are the only survivors of the Scarred Men's attacks so far.
Underestimating your enemy will almost certainly be the death of you.

Magic is rare. Some of the players might have it. There may be sages or other magical figures that could be sought out for tutelage.
Modern
Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
