i move my hands to show him my eye "i don't think so

"Ouch, that looks nasty" I say, seeing blood drip from the wound. "Lemme help clean that up."

I bit the remainder of my sleeve "this is so gonna suck"

"Its not a very deep cut" I say, taking a cloth out of my pocket and dabbing the wound. "You'll be fine"

He looked at a Zeds corpse and realized he was hungry. "Really stomach? That looks appetizing to You? Disgusting...." then, a zed stumbled it's way towards him once it turned a corner, "Heh, heh, heh.....gonna gut you up pal." He approached the zed and stuck the knife in its stomach and moved the blade up and down, "Ugly monster..." He said, pulling out his knife and watching skin rip off, blood spill, and even guts come out. "Wow, that was surprisingly useful...and disgusting." The body fell over and he prodded with his knife, "Stay dead will ya?" Immediately when he said that, the zed slowly got back up and it scared Brown a little. Brown said nothing as he watched the zed eat it's own guts. "Jesus..." He said trying not to vomit and putting hand on his mouth.

"let's just find amber then worry about this" I say pointing to my eye

"If you insist. We have better medical supplies at the bunker anyway."

"Disgusting..." He said, still watching the Zed eat it's own guts on the ground. "I hope I don't do that if I turn....."

She couldn't find much, then again she didn't know what she was looking for. She shrugged and smiled upon seeing a small town house, covered in Ivy, still in tact. "Maybe." She walked through the half open door and looked around. "Weird." She whispered, walking into the kitchen to find jars of non edible foods, but unable to see what they were as she left her flashlight at the treehouse. "Perfect." She growled.

"You don't have to worry you know" I say to Jordan. "Amber can look after herself better than anyone I know."

I look away "thanks but you don't get it and I don't want to say it because I don't want anyone mad at me"

"Ok then, you don't have to tell me." We walk on for a bit in silence.

"so how long have you and amber been together" i ask breaking the silence

"Its hard to keep track of time these days but I'd say around a month"
