Senoheim is a large and prosperous country that, in the past few years, lost its king. Months after his unexpected death his only son passed away and his wife Belgaer de Sommeil withdrew from the public eye, leaving many of her duties for her family to take care of. Despite this tragedy the nation saw continuous success and growth, burdened only by enterprising nobility eager to take power from the royal family.
That is, until today. One of the country's most loyal noble families came under attack overnight; their fortress taken, the villages surrounding it sacked and its people scattered in flight of an unknown enemy. The morning after the initial coup an ancient dragon awoke within the mountains and lashed out at the surviving refugees. Most of the country has yet to hear that this all has happened, though the cloud of smoke that hangs over the Windobrig heralds the terrible news.

Magic may be accepted as truth but is not common. It might be harnessed only by specific beings. Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones.

Combat is woven into the storyline and could come to the forefront if the characters seek it out.

Bumping this just to say that if nobody posts in the next few days I'll continue rping just with Lyssa. Maybe it'll make entering a scene easier but it'll also mean more reading. I totally just created this character a few days ago, but have really found nothing to use her in, she has no true backstory as of yet. If she wouldn't work at all, I have others to use.
Edit: I've read through the beginning and may I say, VERY well written. How exciting. This adventure seems worthwhile. Obviously there are magical creatures, but were you hoping our characters to be human? Prinna is a bit of a pixie, but she could come from the area laid waste by fire (part of the refugees) or perhaps even lives in the valley spoken of where the knight was taken by the dragon, perhaps she witnessed this?
