The year is 2410 (Earth calendar). While Federation space has been relatively peaceful since the Dominion War, there is still plenty of peril, passion, and plot to be found. Take, for example, Starbase 626, located near the border between the Alpha and Beta quadrants. Originally a Federation outpost, after peace was declared between the Federation and the Klingon Empire, it became a frequent stop for merchants, craftsmen, and traders of all sorts and levels of reputability. During the Dominion War, it was also an important relay point.
Now, it is the setting for an rp group.
