"It has been a year since the hooded archer last revealed himself...."

In the small town of Veilsgate, there exists a person like no other, though, many doubt that he is even a man. The Nightstalker--a master archer with an identity unknown to all. He comes and goes with the wind, he is nimble, swift, and takes down his enemies without hesitation with only one, single shot of his bow. With these skills, he had managed to do what the town's guardsmen couldn't, and stabilize the crime rate to an all-time low.

Though, in the fall of the previous year, he ceased his nightly patrols altogether. Now, more than ever, the people need him, as the town has once again been victim to the clutches of thievery, murder, and crimes all the same. Rumors are spreading; some claim that the archer is dead, some say he has moved on to another town, others will say that he simply gave up with protecting the citizens of Veilsgate. Another speculation declared that the archer is still around--but not donned with his cloak, and living right under the people's noses.

Either way, everyone had grown rather resentful of the mysterious archer for his sudden disappearance.

Some time had passed, and now, the archer had reportedly been spotted around the forest in the outskirts of town. Most have been writing it off as fairytales. A minor following had also grown due to this recent buzz, hiding in the shadows, waiting for their idol to show himself once more. As skeptical as it may seem.... It might not be so bad to check it out....
