Ember follows slowly, having to limp, Mortimar had mentioned that nothing without a soul could hurt him. She hoped desperately that a spirit would be enough, she snapped her left fingers, a wolf appeared near her, it helped her the rest of the way to the mess hall, she stayed behind a wall, turning to the wolf. “I need to try your best, okay?”She whispered to it, smiling weakly. The wolf pressed its forehead against hers. ((If the animal died, she wouldn’t be able to summon it anymore, just by the way))

The bolt gets absorbed in his finger. "Look and learn. He flicked the finger and a hail of lightning flew at Hana and Yurika.

She knew her own magic, but it was still difficult to dodge. She speeds up, trying her best to run past it. "Okay, that won't work....But...Why would he redirect it...?" She was a little confused.

He walked out in the garden. The first time he had felt sunshine hit his dead flesh in years.

Yuri jumped out of the way. She went to where Hana was and looked at her.”We need one person to distract him so everyone can attack.” She whispered.

Ember nods to the Wolf, it sprints into the room, dodging the lighting with ease, immediately going for Mortimar, it’s speed unnaturally fast.

Mortimar slaps the mutt on the snout, sending it flying.

Avi ran to Ember.”Are you ok?” He asked worried about her.

She thought to herself, then she shook her head. "My powers won't work against him, I'll distract him. You go."

"Go on my new puppies, play with your new toys" Raven and Farrah appeared from the ground.

Russell appeared next to Mortimar"You can't win!"he said, laughing a little"We are too powerful"

Yuri shook her head.”No we need all the students to join together.” She said.”My powers won’t even work against him unless we work as a team .” She said.

The wall goes flying for a few seconds before disappearing and reappearing on the ground, unharmed. It growls and attacks again.

Ember looks up at Avi. “Not necessarily.” She says, raising her arm, a hole remained where Mortimar impaled it, blood covering her forearm. “I-I have good pain tolerance though.” She says quickly, before Avi freaks out.

Hana sighed. "Alright, fine." She shook her head. "What's the plan?"

Mortimar took Russell in a chokehold. "Do you have any idea of what you are doing. I can strip you of your powers and life"

Ravens corpse bursted into flesh eating flies, and Farrah venomous snakes.

“Get all the other students gathered. Then attack him.” She said.

The flies and snakes swarmed everyone but Mortimar.

Avi looked at her arm.”Uh... Yeah.” He said.”Get on my back.” He said.

She went wide eyed. "No time for that." She grabbed Yuri's arm, racing off with her. "We need to get out."
