Ari sits on her bed, her legs pressed against her chest, trying to understand. Her arms wrapped around her knees, held tight. “Has it really been that long?” She mutters.

Carden finished his food and stood.”I guess I will see you later Hmm?” He said to Asteroth and with that he left.

He sighed"i'll have to ask her later"

Althea walked through the halls, humming the same song she was before. She made her way back outside, deciding to go for a walk through the town.

Matt

I had surfaced a minute later with a light gasp for air. A minute twenty. Not bad. I saw Corrine just laying on the water just relaxing. I thought of doing the same. I leaned back and took in a breath and began to float. I just laid there letting the sun roll over me.

Anthony

"Asteroth...that new kid?" I got slightly jealous, it was unreasonable to be jealous, surely she has moved on, but it was still happening. I was starting to get hot so I took out my sunscreen and started putting some on in preparation for swimming.

Corrine brought her arms back to her side and leaned back, sliding under the water head first. She swam out further into the lake, to the point where she couldn’t feel the bottom anymore, and resurfaced.

((Guys I have to go back to school tomorrow is education really that important 😂))

((Nope. Haha I’m going back to school as well and I don’t want to.))

Celes smiled and nodded. Of course they were just best friends. It’s not like she liked Asteroth in a boyfriend girlfriend relationship anyways. She stood up and walked to the lake dipping her toe in.

(lucky dogs, school started the 3rd for me) (good night!)

Matt

I casually swam over to her. "Swim a lot as a kid? You seem pretty good at it." I laughed.

Anthony

"Yes Celes, I think it's safe to go in." I laughed.

Corrine smiled and nodded, “We live not far from a lake, and we always went in the winter because nobody else ever went swimming in the middle of a snowstorm.” She said, giggling.

Matt

"You're crazy...but in a good way." I laughed. "I lived by the ocean, I always explored the woods near my homestead and eventually found it." I looked down as if remembering something. "Now that I think of it, my swimming there might have actually sparked a war..." I said rubbing the back of my neck.

"...but hey, I had a fun time for however long it lasted."

She raised an eyebrow slightly at Matt’s comment about starting a war but shook it off. She suddenly remembered the food they had brought. “I’m gonna go try one of those cupcakes.” She said smiling before ducking back under the water and swimming towards shore.

Matt

I smiled for a while as I watched her return to shore. She truly was a thing of beauty. I wasn't hungry yet, and I wanted to stay out on the water. I swam closer to shore to where I could touch the bottom again. I started using my powers again in order to create small whirlpools. I nodded in satisfaction as one grew bigger and bigger. This was fun. If only I had this kind of power when I was younger...

Corrine walked onto shore, wringing the water from her hair. She walked up to the tree where they had set up, sitting down and grabbing a bottle of water and taking a sip. She watched as Matt created the whirlpools and she smiled to herself, how did she manage to get so lucky.

Matt

I looked down at the whirlpool, it was now growing in size. It wasn't very powerful, but the sheer size of it was starting to get overwhelming. I stopped focusing on it, and it started to disappear. I took a deep breath and waded out of the water. I shook off some of the water and wrapped my towel around my shoulders. I grabbed a cupcake and took a bite. "We made a good move, getting these."

Corrine reached out and picked up one of the cupcakes, taking a bite. She nodded in agreement, “These are good.”

((Its 11:30 and I have school so I’m heading to bed, night.))

Matt

I sat out in the sun. Sitting under the shade while wet made me cold. I didn't like being cold. I finished up my cupcake and laid down in the grass. I sighed.

Anthony

I looked over at Matt. I chuckled a little bit. He acts like a little boy sometimes. I stepped into the water and swam outward.

Corrine finished her cupcake and took another sip of water, staying in the shade. She watched as Matt went to lay in the sun and as Anthony went out into the water.


((Buses are cancelled so I can’t go to school yay!))

Celes pouted and looked at Anthony who got in. She dipped her toe in again and it was cold. She huffed and looked at Anthony.”The water is so cold.” She said.

He sat and read stories of his grandfather

Althea walked out of the school and down the path towards the town. She hadn’t visited it for a long time, and imagined that it’s changed quit a bit.
