The recent release of the film Isle of Dogs has seen that I have decided to put forward an idea for a group RP heavily based on the setting, as well as taking inspiration from the political themes of titles such as Animal Farm and Watership Down. Despite the nature of our soon-to-be canine characters, there will be a heavy weight of propaganda, politics, and inevitable violence portrayed within the plot and world./justify]

Great Britain, 1940

The impending Blitz and the whirling fires of WWII has long seen the nation standing on edge amidst the chaos, with the city ruins becoming a breeding ground for a terrible sickness dubbed simply as dog flu. The addition of a new stress and the high demand for firepower elsewhere brought forth a hasty and drastic decision; to exile all canine companions to a disposal island within the Channel Islands, henceforth known as the Isle of Dogs.

Alone in a dangerous and unfamiliar landscape, the dogs - though initially believing that survival was a lonely road - have taken to banding together over time, forming a tri-folded map of three organised packs across the island. With each bearing their own territory, ideals and hierarchy, tensions forever run on the edge as each pack fights for its niche within this starving island of decay.

A brief interest check, for sure! But an effective one, I hope. Here we'll be taking on the roles of said canines, each having their place on the island within one of three packs. Each pack will have vastly different ideals, much like the nations partaking in the war across the world. The nature of each pack will be explained in detail within a group, should I earn enough interest. A few notes to consider beforehand are:

• Playing multiple characters helps keeps things alive in a pack setting, but I recommend keeping your canines under one character page to help preserve your slot space!
• Dogs will be portrayed by photographs for the sake of uniform.
• All breeds are acceptable. Mongrels and pedigrees alike. Want to see your own pup in action? Go right ahead.
• Character death is certainly on the table, though nothing will be done without player consent.
• All portrayed pack ideals serve as symbolism, not mockery. It should also be sternly noted that character actions and opinions in no way pertain to the player's own.
