I think it would be neat if you could add a description to go with each stat and divider you add. The description would only show when the mouse hovers over the stat/divider name. This could also only be applied to dividers to explain the stats below them.
"Flexible stat" widgets are intended to allow people to simulate the look, feel and function of those stat sheets used for tabletop characters, which do not contain specific descriptions of each skill. What you're planning is outside of the spirit of their intended purpose, and better accomplished with other widgets and perhaps some BBCode.
