Yeah, it's pretty quiet today...
That's okay, it's kind of peaceful
I have a very tiny suggestion... I saw that new summer soiree popsicles were being discussed yesterday and I'd like to humbly request that you consider making a lime popsicle
or lemon-lime maybe
True, I suppose... Hmm. Ooh! I do have a question for you, Kim. What do you think is your best Epic Week campaign throughout the years? In terms of effort put in, overall fun you had, etc.
Adding the request for lemon/lime to my notes...
also perhaps gummy worms if new candy accolades get added in the future
Oh! I like that too!
Best Epic Week campaign is so hard. There are so many I liked for so many different reasons.
The first time we introduced combat as a mechanic was absolutely exhilirating, as everyone learned the systems and got used to fighting alongside one another. The amount of team work and coordination and discovery in the air was just incredible. That was 2015.
But then in 2021 we introduced the "research library" and were able to create way, way deeper plots, I felt like people got pretty into that. It was sooo much fun. Although that library is HUGE amounts of efforts to create.
And in that same year, we had a sort of stardew inspired multiplayer farming game.
And in 2023 when we discovered the Struth isle, Moa's backstory, I felt like that really resonated with people, and we also had the first appearance of the walrus captaining game.

Those were all highlights for me, though most EWs have some moments that really stand out in my mind
Okay then, I see! Though I would like to see a return of that multiplayer farming game sometime in the future. It was so fun to just see our avis farming!
I agree
Ooh, another question: How's Project Terra Incognita going? Has the map-making process proven to be harder or easier than you expected? What kind of things have you learned so far from it?
Ohhh I have a question too actually, this is so insignificant but I've been curious so I want to know... Is the being able to exchange candy accolades for leaf items thing only some years? Or was it just accidentally skipped this last year?
It didn't really go much at all during 2025. Last year was just a long series of life changes and various disasters for me - it feels like despite constant activity, I just didn't have much to show for it. That said, this year has been going soooo much better, I already released the site upgrade two weeks ago that has moved us forward.
So I'm much more hopeful about being able to do some releases on it this year. In terms of whether it was harder or easier.... There's been a lot of random surprises on that front. Tiny things I thought would be nothing to do will occasionally turn out to be huge mountains to climb, whereas other things I thought would be impossible sometimes turn out to be easy. So I guess it's balancing itself out in that I went into it thinking that on average it would be super hard but doable, and that's been about right?
Speaking of 2025 just being a long series of disasters... The leaf exchange fell during an international move/surprise divorce/second unplanned international move and I just completely dropped the ball on it. I felt so bad when I realized, but it was already too late. It's supposed to happen every year. It WILL happen this year.
That was entirely my bad.
Totally understandable though, you were dealing with a lot. I think we'll be okay without our yearly leaves
I'll be glad to get one when they're available again though
Good evening!!
