Siira leapt out of the escape pod and turned around, looking to the sky. Her ship screamed across the sky, a blazing inferno of colorful energy. The ship fell far into the distance, disappearing from view before erupting into a violent explosion on the horizon.
'Here I am again,' she thought. A single cherry red tear fell from her left eye as the reality of her situation carved it's way into her head. The last planet she had crashed on she spent around 50 years there before being rescued, but rescue from her people was not coming this time. If her people showed up here it would only be to drag her back to her execution.
As hopeless as the situation felt, she was still not ready to give up. She was determined to find Xysix and rescue Xyla. She considered her current surroundings. They were pretty desolate..nothing within her sight currently. Her sensors were relatively sure they were reading something just before she ran for the escape pod, but like every other system on the small vessel, they were malfunctioning and did not provide clear readings.
She set off in the direction of her crashed ship, maybe there would be something left to salvage, she doubted it but it was somewhere to start at least.
Maybe your sensors detected her ship as it was crashing, maybe you were planetside when you detected the incoming vessel on a collision course with your city, or maybe you were at home feeding your cowplant when you saw the fireball that was Siiras ship blaze across the sky and explode off in the distance. Whatever you were doing you took notice, and decided to investigate.
There is more to you than just that too, I already know. You have your own back story riddled with your own problems.
Bring your character along for the ride while Siira searches for her lost mate, rescue her daughter, unearth a civilization her people thought they wiped out thousands of years ago, and evade the Voldarian Empire. All the while your own story continues coming into play, making both of your lives that much more complicated.
This is not a pitch for a selfish story based solely around Siira, any applicants story will be different and their story will be intertwined with Siiras individually, we can discuss how prior to beginning.
Please be sure to view Siiras character page before deciding, her (and the rest of her people) are quite unique.
I prefer OC if at all possible, and please have at least an idea for a back story we can explore.
No sexual themes smut etc
I am looking for a 1x1 but if a group can be formed in this scenario (which I kind of doubt) I am open to trying it, however I will not go over maybe 3 or 4 people.

Some magic. Few can use it, but most of the players probably won't have it. Magical characters will likely believe that they are all alone.
Far future, perhaps interstellar travel (faster than light)
More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.

I am currently suffering from a lack of good sci-fi plots with my single character who, you guessed it, happens to be entirely sci-fi themed, so I'd be more than happy to answer your call if you're willing to take me! Not only that, but from my little snoop around on Siira's profile I can derive that she (and the lore surrounding her) is very interesting!
My character, Sabir Heyeck, has an established and rather detailed backstory but you ought not to worry too much about that, since it's just there to mold his character into its shape and we can easily think of ways to adapt him right into your story seamlessly. Heck, I already have some decent ideas but I will most likely save them for a lengthier PM, one that I'll get to right away after this sends (and as long as you think I'm A okay to RP with you).

I plan on looking at Siira more in depth when I have more than a moment to peruse, but I wanted to respond with my interest. Good Sci-fi plots are few and far between and so I have not used Brink here very much, and would love to flex her muscles a bit.

Yes sci fi I have noticed here seems to be few and far between, originally I was looking for someone else's world for Siira to crash into, but I only found one and had to make some adaptations to make it happen. After a week of finding nothing compatible I decided to finally post
