Elra looked over to Markal and smiled with a nod. He'd then hear about him being a shape-shifter. "Wow, you too? What kind of place am I at? Oh yeah we don't know." He said with wiggle of his ears, he seemed to do that a lot when he was nervous.

Elra heard a strange voice in his head, but he recognized the voice as Narita's. "You can talk in my head too, that's pretty incredible." He said sort of jealous, the boy had no real special talents that branched out that far. "What else can you do?" He asked Narita.

Markal shrugged. "I only have one form I can change into, or half shift if I want. I don't really get a pick and choose." As he talked, his human ears disappeared and black and orange striped tiger ears popped out on either side of Narita.

Xiana sits watching everyone. She tugs at her ear a bit, wishing she could change into something cool too. While everyone else shows each other they're different forms, Xiana stays quiet trying to find out if we all might have similarities that caused us to come to this strange place.

Rita was growing somewhat proud as she impressed the group. It seemed she was letting it go to her head a bit. "Well, I can do this." She opened her mouth and emitted an azure flame. However, being so young, her spray of flame was no more than a small spitfire.

As the tiger ears grew from Markal, she became amused. Small paws reached to bat at them gently. "That's really cool too!" she said excitedly. Her red gaze shifted to Xiana and Elra and she jumped over to land on Xiana's head this time.

Markal laughed and had to stop himself from shaking Narita off his head. "Hey, that tickles!" It seemed he was granted relief anyway as she leaped over to Xiana's head. "And what about you, Ms. Quiet? I'm afraid I haven't heard your name yet."

Xiana was deep in thought. Suddenly she felt Rita hop on her head and she lost her trance of thought. She looked up at Markal. "Oh, sorry. I'm Xiana" she says as she reaches up and pats Rita's head.

Rita emitted a...purr?...yes, a purr...as the young girl patted her head. She looked over to Markal, her giggle sounding off in their minds. "Do you think we should all go now?"

Markal nodded, his mood mellowing as he remembered just where he was, or rather, that he had no idea where he was. He reached his hand up to his shoulder in the familiar habit of adjusting his backpack's shoulder strap, but it wasn't there. It was gone when he woke up, but fortunately he didn't seem to need it so far.

"Ok. But what about El?" Xiana looks back at him.

Rita jumped down from Xiana's head and shifted back to her humanoid form. "Well, Ely's coming too, right?" (I don't think his RPer is online) She canted her head. It seemed she'd already 'nicknamed him.'

Out of the corner of her eye, the Kyurae girl caught sight of something. An orb-like object floating along a nearby path to the west. She turned to follow it in her curiosity. It was a dull gray and seemed rather large. "Huh..."

Markal saw her interest and followed her line of sight. "Hmmm..." His curiosity got the better of him and he shifted completely into his tiger form. It was a little small, not quite full grown. His padded feet made no sound as he slinked over towards the orb. He was pretty much defenseless in his human form but at least as a tiger, he had teeth and claws.

Elra looked up to Markal and smiled. "Wow that's pretty cool." He said referring to his ears, however he'd drop his jaw once again as he formed into a full on tiger. "Awesome." He said with a big smile on his face. He'd walk over to Markal and poke him. "Hey uh, can I get on your back?" He asked him as his ears wiggled up and down.

Xiana stands up and cautiously walks toward the orb, walking side by side with Rita. "What is that thing..." Her eyes never loses sight of the orb as she walks closer and closer to it.

Elra looks to the orb curiously, his ears perking up as he gazed upon it. (( Adding that to my post ))

Markal flicked his ears in Elra's direction but other than that didn't do much to answer. He couldn't in this form though, not like Narita. He kept his eyes intently on the orb. He sniffed the air, trying to catch some sort of scent on it.

Rita followed after the floating orb. "I'm not sure.." she said softly as she followed the strange thing. She reached out to touch it, but it floated back away from her, quickly going out of her hand's reach.

She looked to her companions and frowned. "Do ya think it's dangerous? It looks kinda funny, doesn't it?" she said, continuing to follow it along the pathway. It was growing darker around them. Was it night?

Elra smiled and climbed aboard Markal's back anyway, he figured he probably wouldn't mind with him being so small and light and all. He'd look toward Rita and scratch his head. "I don't know, it doesn't LOOK dangerous... but..." He didn't finish his sentence, he just didn't seem to know what to say about this orb of light. "Maybe we should touch it." He suggested.
