Michael Northrop came to my school today. I dunno why, but I'm super motivated to start writing a novel despite the fact that he was hella annoying. I have plenty of original characters, I just need a general plot idea for a fantasy/romance novel. Any ideas?
Good luck! You may want to look into the three act structure, hero's journey, and monomyth, which are all common frameworks for building plots in fantasy stories. I also really recommend Brandon Sanderson's writing lectures from 2016, which are up on Youtube for free.
