I'm new to this site, but not to roleplaying in general. I've never played D&D (and probably never will; it's just not my style). I prefer text-based, chatroom-style roleplaying over anything else. I mostly RP on The Keep and CyberChat, and I can also enjoy roleplaying via messengers!
Roleplaying has been a huge part of my life ever since I was ten or eleven or so. I para, though I'm still trying to get as good as some people I've roleplayed with who multi-para. It's incredible to me that they can write so much, so detailed and well-written. It's inspiring.
I can be a bit of an anal person when it comes to preferences, however... which seems to drive lots of people away without giving it a chance.
I hope to make some friends and see what RPR has to offer me. I hope it'll be fun!

Welcome to RPR. I think quite a few of us started Rping when we were ten or eleven, funny how that works 
Anyway, nothing wrong with being picky about your RP preferences, it's supposed to be fun and if you're not doing something that you're happy with, you're not going to be enjoying yourself

I totally am into chatroom however, when I get itno RP I prefer it to keep going on until it's over. I have a ahrd time with forums due to my lack of patience. (Which I admit, I lack a lot)
