People can't just view the files on your computer, so you have to first upload the image to the internet. A popular site to do this is https://imgur.com/

Once you have your image, copy the URL (you can do this by right-clicking the image and selecting the option "Copy Image Link" or "Copy Image Address" or something similar. The exact wording depends on your browser.

Once you have the image you can press the image button on the top of the chatbox and paste in the URL you just copied. It should look something like this:
Code:
[img]https://SAMPLEURL.jpeg[/img]

**The URL won't be the sample URL, it'll be the URL of the image you just uploaded. Only urls that end in .gif, .jpg, .jpeg or .png will work, so if it doesn't end in one of these file types, you have copied the wrong address.

You're going to have to find a site that is not blocked. Try googling terms such as 'image host'. But if your school is blocking one they're probably attempting to block them all. You need to host your image somewhere, you can't just link to an image on your hard drive.

Another way around it is to use the ‘gallery’ widget on a character slot. You can upload twenty photos on a character gallery widget and you can then copy the photo URL using the BB img code.
If your school can access Discord, you can make a server of your own specifically to upload pictures. Discord can be used as an impromptu image hosting service if you have no other option.
