Also I just pictured a Viking Longboat being rowed under great duress to the convention with a bunch of HeimFriends. 
Almost possible. I live a stone's throw away from the con center, and one of my friends converted his truck into a longship for Halloween two years ago. (Not one of the ones going, sadly.)
