Overview:
Ex Nihil is an RP which will primarily take place on the forum site, but we encourage you to please first join the discord server. The plot of the RP itself revolves around various factions whose members serve an Overlord designated to the faction. An Overlord is generally assigned based on combat capacity, and can be replaced with another member of the same faction should the Overlord be defeated by that member in an official duel.
The RP itself involves cross-faction warfare, a player-based economy, expeditions, rankings (individual and group), and events that will require various members, regardless of factions, to cooperate.
There is no clear singular leader within the plot of the RP, with Overlords holding the highest spots in the hierarchy. This means that anyone can progress to the very top, so long as they have sufficient combat skills. All official matches will take place within the regulations of TBL(Turn-Based Logic) MP(Moderate Power), and in the presence of an 'Overseer' (member of the moderation staff).

Magic is very common. Magic-tech, grand floating islands, forests that sing, magical creatures may be an every-day occurrence.
Modern
Wartime/soldier RPs. Combat is a given and will likely be graphic, but there's the potential for non-combat "in the trenches" scenes. World War 2, Vietnam, etc.
Romance is desired but not required, and will balance evenly with other plot.
Details: Character sheets & strict mechanics, paragraphs required, long-term RP partner preferred.
