As your walking along a side walk you hear crys for help you turn to a alley way noticing someone running away. As you turn you can see a man knocked out. You bring him to a hospital, and they say he is in a deep sleep and should wake up tomorrow. You take him home to check up on him until he feels better. But you also have to help him remember who was trying to kill him.

On very, very, rare occasions there may be unexplained, POSSIBLY supernatural events. Minor "environmental" magic. Perhaps implies the existence of a deity or supernatural entity. Or perhaps it's just tricks?
Industrial revolution
Small possibility of combat, usually brief and not detailed.
Romance isn't outright desired, but can happen if we decide the characters are perfect for each other. The romance won't be important to the overall plot.
