How long has it really been? Since that intimidating race took over the Earth? You're apprehensive to this question. So many humans have died whilst desperately attempting to reclaim their home planet. Only very few groups of the human race remain.
Mallory, or, to everyone but himself, The Corrupted King, has enslaved many of the remaining humans after he dealt most of the damage to the race. He treats them with some form of kindness, that is, until he gets vexatious. You, a human, are one of these enslaved beings. Though it seems that The Corrupted King has taken more of a liking to you than to anyone else. You notice him focused on you most of the time. What is he plotting in that brain of his?

Far future, perhaps interstellar travel (generation ships)
Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
