Draeval was off the beaten path today, he was just hanging out in the woods laying on his back on top of a rock with the sun beating down on him. He was in his human form, but regardless he still enjoyed basking in the sun. Especially after how sick he'd been lately. He'd discarded his shirt a while ago, instead letting his normally pale skin absorb what it could. Not that it would last long but it at least made him feel like he didn't look so much like he needed to be in a hospital.

Draeval's arms were folded beneath his head and he hummed some Sinatra song, it was always like that when he looked the way he did right now. With tussled brownish black hair and stunningly bright blue eyes, he always felt so old fashioned like this. But even then, even though he felt healthy again his body betrayed him. His eyes were a bit too pale, his cheeks were slightly too hollow, and the skin on his scarred chest was too tight over an already thin body. At least he didn't look like he would die of starvation, but he definitely didn't look himself again yet.

He sighed and closed his eyes, adding words to his song. He was a wolf so his voice was naturally pleasant to hear, lively and melodic he just let himself enjoy the moment. He didn't usually take time out for himself like this, but it got him out of the cabin and let him clear his mind.

The pale armored silver kitsune stirs from a nap, mumbling as they opened their greenish hued eyes. Rarely did this one, even with a thin armor on, leave their own home. They stir again, before standing onto their feet shakily, a set of crippled feathered wings resting onto their thin but sturdy build. The sun shimmered their fur, though lighting up a thin halo still over their head.

They looked around hesitantly. A feminine kitsune, it seemed. She seemed on alert at any birds that chirped, tensed up at even the slightest noise. Even jumped when she heard the sound. Her greenish eyes scanned the area until she spied the rock and the human that seemed to be resting on it.

She pinned her ears back slightly. She hadn't noticed them when she first came out from her home, yet there they were, singing or something. Still tense, she gets on all fours and sneaks up to the figure, crawling silently, curious. A human, way out here? How odd.

Draeval's nose twitched and one eye peered open to glance in the direction of the Kitsune that scampered towards him. "'ello dare lil one." When she was closer Jensara could probably smell that he wasn't actually human, though there were human scents on him. His scent was that of a wolf, mixed with dust and old leather but still a wolf.

Draeval didn't move, he just laid there with his eyes on Jensara but he didn't want to move around too much to scare her off.

Jenna yelped when he spoke, flinching back a bit after catching the scent aswell, ears pinned back her fur raised on end. Her stiff wings flinched a bit, heart beating fast, muscles flinching harshly from the voice.

''....Who...What are you?'' She inquired, standing back up onto her feet, tail still frizzed out. ''You seem human, yet...You aren't?'' Scratching her chin, halo bobbing over her somewhat now raised ears. Yet her instict to flee or not kept her pinned to one spot, mildly confused.

Draeval didn't jump when she did, he remained calm and kept himself from moving. He didn't wish to frighten her anymore than he already had, while she showed signs of being frazzled he didn't even seem phased.

"I'm Draebal. An I'm a wolf, w'o zumtimez appearz like a 'uman. An w'o are ya lil one?" He quirked a brow at her but kept his gaze steady. "Dun worry doug', I 'abe no reazon ta 'urt ya. W'ic' probably doezn't zound ta comfortin at all, but 'oneztly dare iz nuffin excitin bout c'azin a kit."

She inched back up to him on all fours again, though her tense stature remained. Somehow, though, she was able to understand his speech without much questioning. Her ears stayed pinned back, however.

''My name is Jenna, demon angel of a long lost forgotten time back when a demon and an angel were good friends. However, that time has since ended, and I have tooken to hiding here because humans have magically assumed I'm an evil creature.'' She gruffed, looking a bit annoyed. ''I am far more than a kitsune, but leave it to me to not want to use my true form...It seems to...Ah..Frighten things.''

Draeval stared at her for a few moments as she spoke, "Intereztin." Well it was! He shifted and sat up some, putting his arms in his lap and arching his back a bit. He'd been on the rock a while and his skin was bright red for it.

"Not muc' frig'tenz me." He rolled his head on his neck and offered a grin, "Zo wut bringz ya ta diz little corner ub da world?"

''You look sunburnt.'' She replied grimly. ''I live in a run down battered up house far away. I came here to get a breathe of fresh air. Being cooped up in a house isn't fun for a wild animal like me...Well...Wild to those humans...'' She grumbled, flinching her ears.

How long had it been since she had last got out of the old house? Too long, to her it seemed. Her armor was getting her hot, even if it was thin and loosely fit onto her fur. ''Nice to meet you...Draebal?''

Draeval offered her a genuine smile, "It'll fade." He chuckled softly, "Underztand, I libe in a cabin out 'ere wif mai mate. But dare are dayz wen it feelz like...it'z zuffocatin. 'umanz uzed ta feel da zame way, dey juz lozt it ober time."

He nodded, "Nice ta meet ya ta Jenzara." He stretched again and let out a content sigh, "Ya look 'ot little one."

''My armor is thin, but it's getting me hot from the sunlight. I wear it no matter what happens because the nature of my rare kind is to keep guard at all times, never rest because the innocetets of things could easily attack you for what you are. I want to take it off, but I'm scared..'' She whined.

Which was understandable, considering that she was thin for a kitsune to begin with. Even her rubs could be seen when she sat down, fuzzed tail resting in her lab cautiously. ''I've never seen such a sunny day. Most of the days I see are clouded and horrible.'' She replied, ignoring the armor, which started to get hotter from the sun when she sat down.

Draeval frowned, that wasn't very good at all. "I can underztand, Kitz are fairly bulnerable. Eben if dat iz only da form yar takin' at da time." He watched her and let his gaze take in her small frail looking form, "Ya are kinda zkinny, dat normal far ya?" Not that Drae had much to say on that he looked about as big around as a stick, but still he knew the look and he was a curious wolf.

''Since I fear almost everything, I don't eat much....Which leaves me dangerously skinny.'' She replied. The heat finally got on her nerves, and she removed the thin armor to reveal the numerous scars where fur could no longer grow, where a thin layer of darkened skin was instead. ''Always hungry, but finding food is....Harsh, in the least, on a frail body.'' In reality though, it was what she was that kept her so thin.

Draeval sighed, "Datz not a bery good exiztence. Doug' I can definitely relate ta it." He eyed her as she pulled her armor off and glanced at the scars for a moment. It wasn't like his weren't visible, but he understood how it must have been for this creature.

"Ya z'ould go near da city more den, I uzed ta zcabenge a lot. An itz eazy pickinz up dare."

''Yes, but anyone in the right mind can see I bear a shattered halo. Humans consider me a beast, and fear me also. They'll pull out gun and point at me, or get out knives and get ready to slash at me..Some scars will never heal. They stay behind to remind me of the past that haunts me. I wasn't supposed to exist, with two creatures that hate eachother deeply mixed together..''

He shifted and quirked a brow, "Ya could probably uze wit a way ta mazk yarzelf. Zum zort ub c'arm or zumtin, a beil. Or really big friendz." That last one made him chuckle, but it was honest. She could survive with really large friends. "I 'abe a brudder in law...'e'z u'...grizzly bear zized. I'm zure 'e could protect ya."

She shudders. ''I'm not too tall. It's my halo that gives me away for not being a pure kitsune,which I hate deeply.'' She muttered. She shifted to her usual demonish looking form, large bat wings folded against her back, with a small set of feathered wings underneath. She wore a dark purple dress, though the middle was cut out with spots in the back for her wings.

She sighed, wings drooped, a set of burned-ish ears pinned back under her two broken blackened horns. Stray deers saw her and scattered, and the general sound of wildlife ceased.

Draeval offered another smile, 'Datz way I zuggezted a beil, a mazk I guezz. Maibe it could block dem fram zeein it.' He just wasn't good at explaining things. But he couldn't help it, he tried at least there was that.

He listened to the forest and sniffed, 'Muzt not be eazy ta 'unt if dey all run like dat...' He looked back at her and offered her a sad gaze, 'I could 'elp ya if ya want.'

''Could you? Every animal that lays sight to me flees in utmost terror. I can't run much, due to my thin build. I tire too easily..'' She replied, stomach growling loudly.

Drae grinned and leaped off the rock and into his wolf form, with a shake to put all his fur in place he offered her a toothy smile. 'Dinner comin rite up.' And off he went to see what he could catch. He wasn't the best hunter from his pack, but he'd survived so far.
