The sound of violin plays for the first time this year, bellowing through the Italian stonework streets in a musical ballad of enticing strings and haunting notes. The small town of Piena is once more haunted by the dead- the souls and ghouls of a time past that do not rest. Built upon a hill, the towns streets twist and snake side to side, all the way up a large hill that is marked by one distinct feature; a graveyard. Every year the unruly restless descend upon the streets of Piena, terrorizing those unfortunate enough to be caught outside.

This whole event, there is only one thing that continues to be the same every year; for seven days, a mysterious violin plays throughout the town streets, it plays without rest for seven days straight, after which stops just as fast as it starts. Some believe the violin is the direct cause of the monsters that plague this village every year, but none can find the origin of this mysterious violin.
